How do I password protect my wedding website?

In case you want to add a little extra privacy to your wedding website, you have the option to add a password! This way, guests will be prompted to input the password before they can view any of the information on your wedding website. Just use these step-by-step instructions:

  • Head over to your Account Settings and go to the Privacy tab.
  • On that page, scroll down to "Website Password"
  • Select "Yes"
  • Enter the password you'd like to use and click save!

We highly recommend adding a note to your guests that explains where they can retrieve the password (ie. their save the date, invitation or perhaps a wedding planner)

Please note that Zola cannot give out your website password to your guests.

If you change your mind later and want to remove "Password Protect," simply select "No" on the Privacy Settings page.

Working from the app?

Tap into your Website tab > then tap the gear icon in the upper right hand corner > you'll see the option to enable and customize your password there!
