They say the best things in life are free. And while that usually means joy or the feeling of sunshine on your skin, we think it can also apply to free gifts. Namely, the ones from your favorite companies congratulating you on your upcoming nuptials.

“How,” you ask? By inviting them to your wedding!

Don’t worry: you won’t have to pay for extra plates or worry about exceeding your headcount. You’re just sending those extra invites to your favorite brands in the hopes that they’ll reply back with a gift, or at least some fun swag!

Maybe you’re ahead of the trend and you’ve tried out these viral Tiktok methods already. Or you might be ready to start sending out those accidental-extra-invites, and you want a little guidance on getting the best response rate.

We’ve got you covered. Read on for everything you need to know when it comes to the best companies to send wedding invites to for free stuff.

List of the best companies to send wedding invites to for free stuff

You’ll probably want to focus your efforts on your favorite brands. But it can’t hurt to do a little market research, right?

We’ve rounded up all of the best companies to send wedding invites to for free stuff (including company addresses to send wedding invites to), based on our research of who actually responds, and what they send out to real couples.

Chick-fil-A

If you spend a lot of time on TikTok, you've probably seen this couple's viral video, opening a box of pre-wedding goodies from Chick-fil-A. This fast food brand is one of the best companies that send wedding gifts. They’ve already sent back coupons for free meals, gift cards, and other treats. You can send your wedding invite to their corporate address: Chick-fil-A, Inc., Attn: CARES, P.O. Box 725489, Atlanta, GA 31139-9923, USA.

Lucasfilm

This couple bonded over Star Wars early in their relationship, and sent an invite to the company. They received a themed cookbook complete with stickers as a wedding gift. Want to try something similar? You can send your wedding invite to: Lucasfilm Ltd., 1110 Gorgas Ave, San Francisco, CA 94129, USA.

Ben & Jerry's

What's more delicious than a cookbook? Vouchers for ice cream, of course. Ben & Jerry’s isn’t just tasty ice cream — it’s also one of the best companies to send wedding invites to for free stuff.

One couple sent a wedding invitation to the ice cream giants and received a cute note in return, complete with discount coupons for free ice cream. Send your wedding invite to Ben & Jerry’s, Attn: Customer Service, 530 Community Drive, Suite 1, South Burlington, VT 05403, USA.

Dallas Mavericks

If you and your partner are big basketball fans, why not send an invite to your favorite team to score some free merchandise? This couple sent an invite to the Dallas Mavericks, who responded with some branded goods and a sweet letter to celebrate the big day. Send your invite to: Dallas Mavericks 1333 N Stemmons Fwy Ste 105 Dallas, TX 75207 USA to try something similar!

Crumbl

Got a sweet tooth? One couple sent a wedding invite to Crumbl Cookies at 2570 W 600 N, Lindon, UT 84042 and got a sweet, hand-written response as well as some delicious cookies.

The Mets

The bride also shared that she got gifts and responses from The Mets (Citi Field, 41 Seaver Way, Queens, NY 11368, USA).

Playstation

And, if that wasn’t enough, the very same bride also received a reply (complete with gifts) from Playstation. If you and your significant other are big into gaming, reach out to Playstation at Foster City, 2207 Bridgepointe Pkwy, CA, USA).

The Body Shop

One bride did things a little differently. Instead of sending an invite to The Body Shop, she wrote a thank you letter saying the brand's vitamin C Moisturizer was her holy grail, before and after her wedding. The brand responded with a huge box of skincare. Try something similar by writing your letter to: The Body Shop 5036 One World Way Wake Forest, NC 27587 USA.

Two Roads Brewing Co.

This bride shared that her partner loves beer from Two Roads Brewing Co., so she invited the brand to her big day. Not only did they send a seriously sweet reply, but they also sent some branded glasses. Love Two Roads Brewing Co. as much as they do? Send them an invite to your wedding at: Two Roads Brewing Co. 1700 Stratford Ave Stratford, CT 06615 USA.

LaCroix

One bride-to-be sent a wedding invite to LaCroix and received an entire box of freebies, which she opened on TikTok. The sparkling water brand sent the happy couple a range of presents including (unsurprisingly) sparkling waters as well as stickers, coupons, and a sweet note. She sent her invite to: 8100 SW 10th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33324 USA.

Other fun companies to send wedding invites to

Those are some of the tried-and-tested companies to send wedding invitations to that we’ve seen recently. But there are lots of other companies that are known for their generosity when it comes to invitations.

Kate Spade

This chic fashion brand is known for sending lovely gifts like personalized cards, tote bags, wallets, or even champagne glasses. That means it might just be the best company to send wedding invites to if you’re big into fashion. You can send your wedding invite to Kate Spade New York, Attn: Customer Service, 2 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10016, USA.

In-N-Out Burger

Arguably one of the most delicious places to remember when you’re sending wedding invitations to companies, this burger brand has sent back stickers, hats, t-shirts, and gift cards. Send your wedding invite to their corporate address: In-N-Out Burgers, Attn: Customer Service, 4199 Campus Drive, 9th Floor, Irvine, CA 92612, USA .

Nintendo

Sure, Nintendo receives a lot of fan mail. But your wedding invitation might just stick out as one that deserves a response. And Nintendo is widely considered one of the best companies to send wedding invites to for free stuff.

In the past, Nintendo has responded to fans with mini posters. If you love video games, you’ll treasure it as a cute memory from your wedding prep. Send that invite to: Nintendo of America c/o Public Relations 4820 150th Ave, Northeast Redmond, WA 98052, USA.

Disney

This one should be a given if you're having a Disney-themed wedding. Even if you've already got Mickey and friends involved in your wedding somehow, you might want to send the head office an invite to your wedding.

Some TikTok users have received personalized cards, stickers, pins, and other swag from Disney. If you're hoping for something similar, send your wedding invite to:

The Walt Disney Company Attn: Fan Mail Department 500 South Buena Vista Street Burbank, CA 91521, USA.

And you can also pump up your wedding with a Disney theme, by buying Disney wedding invites (and other Disney wedding paper).

Coca-Cola

You never know. Play your cards right when you send a wedding invite to Coca-Cola, and they might just cover the soft drinks tab for your wedding. Even if that’s a lofty goal, Coca-Cola has sent out coupons for free products, personalized bottles, and even mini fridges to people who've sent them fan mail. Send your invite to: The Coca-Cola Company Consumer Information Center P.O. Box 1734 Atlanta, GA 30301, USA.

Southwest Airlines

Gently remind the airline giant of your upcoming honeymoon, and maybe Southwest Airlines will send their congratulations complete with vouchers for your romantic trip. Try your luck by sending an invite to: Southwest Airlines P.O. Box 36647-1CR Dallas, TX 75235, USA.

Starbucks

Starbucks is known for being pretty generous when you tell them it's your birthday, so there's no reason why they can't congratulate you on your upcoming wedding. In the past, they've sent out everything from gift cards to mugs and coffee blends. Send your invitation to: Starbucks Coffee Company Customer Relations PO Box 3717 Seattle, WA 98124-3717, USA.

What should the wedding invitation say?

It’s all up to you when it comes to how much you want to personalize things when you mail off wedding invites to companies for free stuff. You could just send them the standard invite that you’ll mail to the rest of your guests. Or you could step things up a notch with some extra attention to detail.

TikTok users who’ve jumped on the trend and heard back from their favorite companies list a few key steps when it comes to writing out the invites.

  • If you’re a big fan of the brand, send a photo with the invitation. In the pic, show you and your future spouse using their products or services. That could look like wearing their clothes, sitting on one of their planes, or smiling in front of one of their stores.
  • Mention why you love the brand. If you’ve got a favorite cookie flavor, for example, it’s worth including. It might work to your advantage when they’re deciding what to send you!
  • Consider including your social handles if you’ve got a number of followers. This is a sneaky way of showing the brand that a wedding gift could work to their advantage. For instance, if they send you a box of goodies and you share a video of it on TikTok, that can be an easy brand promotion win for them.

Of course, you probably don’t want to spend hours writing out wedding invitations to companies. There’s a fair-to-reasonable chance that many won’t reply. And we’re pretty sure the list of things you need to do for your wedding day is only getting longer.

But, if you’ve got spare invitations and you want to hedge your bets on some fun freebies, sending them to companies could be a great way to use them up.

How to find other company addresses to send wedding invites to

If you remember the golden age of sending fan mail to your favorite celebrities, you're probably familiar with some of the methods below. And the same tips apply to your favorite brands. You can contact these companies to send wedding invites to for free stuff in multiple ways, including all the ways below.

Check their website

Most companies have a "contact us" page on their website, which usually has their mailing address, phone number, email, or social media accounts.

Check their social media

Smaller businesses may list their physical address on their social media profiles, like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or LinkedIn. Can't find them? You can also message them directly and ask for their address.

Check their packaging

If you've bought a product from the company before (and we're guessing you have, if they're invited to your wedding!), you can check the packaging for their address. Sometimes you'll find a returns address or a customer service address printed on the box, the label, or the receipt.

Check online directories

Still no luck? Check online directories like Google Maps or Yelp to search for the company’s name and location. You should be able to find their address, phone number, or website.
