Aladdin films will make a lasting impression on you. They were referred to me by my mother's friend, and the way she described their approach to the shooting and customer service was just wow. My experience was no different, even better I would say. The first thing we noticed was that both photographer and videographer arrived earlier, so they would get enough footage for getting ready photos. The photographer was very professional, he would always point out if we posed in the wrong way, and there was no awkwardness when he took pictures of us. He would always lead us to where the best location to shoot, and which pose is the best. If I had ideas for a picture I would like to have, he would understand me and take the exact picture I wanted! The Videographer was very creative, he used wireless microphones to capture our voices when we were reading our letters to each other prior to the ceremony, and our wows during the ceremony. In the final video, we could hear our voices so clearly, as if we were recorded in a studio. Both of them decided to capture our wedding day as it was, we weren't bothered with extra posing that we did not need, and everything went flawlessly. And the end result was … I can’t express it other than IDEAL. We watched the video with our best man and maid of honor, we were all speechless! Aladdin Films filmed and edited our video in a way that I felt the whole spectrum of emotions that I felt that day. It’s unbelievable. The only advice I want to give to couples that are thinking of ordering their service is to reach out to them ASAP since your date may not be available anymore. We recommended them to my sister and 4 other friends and siblings that will marry this year and the next year. We’re looking forward to meeting you at my sister’s wedding!

Meet Ellen, a Southern California native and seasoned visual storyteller: I've been photographing events and portraiture since 2017 and specialize in destination weddings and elopements. I take on all types of creative photo shoots when I'm not shooting weddings.

Ellen was very easygoing and fun to work with for our graduation shoot! She was flexible when we needed slight changes in the plans. We had a planning call beforehand, and the photos were returned to us within a few days of the shoot. The number of photos received from her package was higher than many other photographers that we have worked with. They are of excellent quality, and we are happy with them! We highly recommend Ellen to anyone looking for an excellent photographer.

Randall de Leon Photography

5.0

Los Angeles, CA
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $2,000

Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old. Never in a million years would I have thought that my lifelong hobby could eventually become my career. I focused on my future, working my way through college and grad school to achieve my license to practice, but a part of me realized that I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to go on adventures and meet a lot of new people. So in 2019, I took that risk, changed my hours from full time to part time and put more focus on my photography. I booked my first gig later that year and have never looked back.

Randall is truly amazing to work with. He has done multiple events with us and he has been professional throughout them all. His suggestions for photos are great and he always makes us feel comfortable. We look forward to working with him more in the future to create perfect memories for our family.

Adam Griffin Photo

5.0

West Hollywood, CA
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $5,000

I’m Adam—a Boston native who’s now roaming around California photographing everything I see. When I’m not behind the camera you can usually find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, sipping a dirty martini with friends, jamming to Taylor Swift in the car, or taking my rescue pup Ollie to the park or on long neighborhood walks. I got my first film camera when I was 8, and it was love at first sight. Capturing your story is more than just a job for me. From destination elopements to parties of the century, I've seen it all and love every minute of a wedding day.

Awarded Best of Zola
Adam did our gorgeous Central-Park-in-Fall-Foliage engagement photos over a year ago and also shot our wedding on December 3, 2022. Not only do the photos turn out absolutely gorgeous- he's a consummate professional. He is great at making you feel comfortable, gives just the right amount of direction to make you feel safe but free, and knows exactly what he's doing so everything flows smoothly. I've been a groomsman nearly 20 times so I've gone through a LOT of bridal party/family/post-ceremony photos, and Adam was the most efficient and effective at corralling groups and making it work. Everyone raved about his leadership during the shoots. He also has a great eye for catching the right candid moments from the right angles. Not to mention he's an absolute sweetheart!

Hi I'm Carmelisse. I'm an intimate wedding & elopement photographer based in Los Angeles. I have a gift for making people comfortable and seeing the beauty in all diverse people. I want nothing more than to tell your love story right.

Awarded Best of Zola
Where do I even begin?! When my husband and I got engaged December of 2019, the first thing I did was book Carmen to be our photographer. I always knew that I wanted her to capture our special day because her work is so incredible! Unfortunately, our plans for a big wedding changed after COVID but we didn't want to pass up on the opportunity to have our love captured, so we decided to elope and it was the best decision ever! Carmen was so understanding about the whole thing and provided us with a number of local vendors for our Joshua Tree elopement. And when the day finally came, we were blown away by the experience! My husband and I peg ourselves to be pretty awkward people especially when people take our photos but Carmen made us feel so comfortable. She had to direct us a bit in the beginning because we didn't know what we were doing haha but that day was everything we could ever dream of. We keep going back and reminiscing about that day because we had so much fun! And when we finally got our gallery, we were blow away by how beautiful the photos came out! We're still trying to figure out which photos to print out and put up on our walls because there's just so many good shots to choose from! Again, thank you soooo much for capturing our special day and thank you for hanging out with us and eating 'zzaaa! You're amazing! These are photos that we'll look back on and cherish forever!

I’m Mysi (pronounced, boringly, “Missy”)! I’ve been at this thing for 12 years and I keep falling more and more in love with it all. Give me intimate micro-weddings, quirky dive bar weddings, raucous South Asian weddings... my team and I absolutely thrive in chaos and emotion. My specialty is catching the moments and those tiny moments in between. ✨✨✨

Awarded Best of Zola
I have had the pleasure of working with Mysi on several projects, most recently my engagement and wedding photos. I cannot make any grand statement that would cover how much I loved working with Mysi. Her talent is unquestionably amazing, but the thing I loved most about her was her ability to emotionally connect. Her personality is calming, open, and loving and that is so important for a photographer capturing some of the biggest moments in our lives! Highly recommend, 10/10, would book again and again and again.

Stephen Tang Photo

Pasadena, CA

While some photographers emphasize their gear or trendy post-processing, I take pride in subject-photographer interaction - the relation I build with clients, picking up on nuances in pose and expression while we shoot, anticipating the viewers' response - because ultimately, that's how photographs that matter to us are created. I'm a native New Yorker who found myself relocating to Los Angeles and making it my home. Wherever you'd like to have your wedding, it would be my pleasure to be your photographer.

Awarded Best of Zola
We couldn’t be happier that we found Stephen to photograph our wedding! He was very organized, easy to work with, on top of everything at the wedding, makes you feel comfortable during the photo shoots, and took into account our picture requests while taking the time to come up with cool ideas on his own. The pictures came out so great and were just what we wanted. Couldn’t recommend him enough! We want an excuse to hire a photographer again just so he could do it! Thanks Stephen!

Mirage and Light Photography

5.0

Long Beach, CA
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $3,600

Photography is my creative dream come true and it is so incredibly special to be able to capture memories that other people will love and cherish for many, many years. Around high school, I found out for myself how important these memories were. Not just the ones I was creating currently but the ones that I couldn’t get back. I would look back on these photos and think, "I remember how happy I was that day." "Aww, my little brother was so tiny then!" Or even, "What was I thinking when I wore that outfit??" These little snippets of time carried such a significance for me that I wanted other people to feel that way about their memories, too.

How can I explain with words just how amazing our experience with Mirage and Light (Amanda) was?? To start, I was referred to Amanda by my now-husbands cousin who had used her amazing skills for her own wedding! So I knew from the start that she was going to be amazing. From first contact, Amanda was so positive and professional. I booked her immediately and she offered a free engagement photo shoot with a wedding photography booking! Talk about a great deal! She was so lovely to meet and she made us so comfortable in front of the camera. Her payment plan was stellar and the contract was so clear and helpful, I had no trouble referencing any information I had forgotten. On to the wedding! As the big day approached, we listed out all the different groups to be photographed. Not only did she stick to that list so well, but she also thought of other group shots that we forgot about as the day was happening! She thought of everything! And if that wasn’t enough, her husband joined her to help with the pictures! They had the whole day covered and I always felt like every moment was being caught. As for quality, I feel so beautiful when I look at the pictures she took (and dare I say my husband also feels beautiful when he looks at them ;) So if you want a professional, organized, all around lovely person to do your wedding pics, Mirage and Light checks all the boxes!

Jess Onesto (formerly Cheers Babe Photo)

Jess is a wedding photographer serving couples from Los Angeles to New York City. She specializes in documenting moments with honesty and optimism to showcase her couples’ love for each other, love for their people and their love for a damn good time. “My work is bold, enduring, and honest.” With more than a decade of experience as a photographer and a background in fine art and film photography, Jess approaches each wedding with intention and a sense of novelty. She works in both digital and film mediums and her work has been featured in publications including Martha Stewart Weddings, Destination I Do and Brides.

Awarded Best of Zola
Choosing Cheers Babe / Jess as our wedding photographer was hands down the absolute best wedding decision we made! I honestly think Jess might be an angel because that's how big of an impact she had on our day. First off, Jess is just a kind, caring, funny and bubbly human being. She makes the awkward feelings of being in front of a camera melt away in 2.5 seconds without even trying. Jess also has impeccable taste and was such a good sounding board for ideas I had on our day of (ie. that probably won't look the way you way you think it will or yes, love that so much!!). Her responsiveness and support put me at ease so more times than I can count. Jess also took time to get to know my husband and I so it was that much easier to feel like ourselves around her which TOTALLY shows in our pictures. On top of all that, Jess was amazing at working with my other vendors, managing details, and of course was on time and on the money with everything she said she'd do. She even had a sneak peak of photos for us to look at before we even boarded a plan to our honeymoon. So on to the actual pictures themselves...this is probably a bit TMI for a wedding review but I was very insecure about getting my pictures taken for my engagement shoot and wedding. Jess was able to not only make me forget about my insecurities during our first session / engagement photos but then literally brought me to tears as I saw how stunning our photos turned out. Every ounce of insecurity I had was gone after that and it's entirely because of Jess. She was a blast at our wedding. All of our guests loved her and you can actually feel the vibe of our special day when you look at any of the photographs. We will never have enough words to express our gratitude to Cheers Babe but we can say BOOK HER AS SOON AS YOU CAN! Photographers with this kind of talent are one in a trillion!!

Fatima Elreda Photo

5.0

Los Angeles, CA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,500

I set my mind and soul to this craft about 5 years ago and my heart just grew with every couple I met and every story I learned and told through my favorite medium of photography. It is the absolute best feeling being able to photograph the genuine love and happiness a couple expels through their wedding day. Nothing can beat the emotions and the charm of that. It's an honor to be able to translate those emotions onto images so people can look back through them and get back those feelings years and decades later.

Awarded Best of Zola
My now husband and I have been working with Fatima for the last two years, since he came across her in 2021 to capture our surprise proposal. Even in our first shoot with Fatima, we found her to be kind, fun, and committed to excellence. Given our positive experience and impression of her professionalism and outputs, we went on to work with her for our subsequent engagement shoot and another special one. Fatima listens to her clients, gets an understanding of what they're looking for, and shares her perspective and feedback to ensure that her art is in line (and beyond) your expectations. She has amazing skills in playing with light and shadows, capturing candid, but editorial likes images - our friends / family kept telling us her pictures look like they're out of a magazine! We have loved getting to know and establish a relationship with her, not simply because her work is extraordinary, but also, at a personal level - she is a warm, genuine person who truly wants to deliver the BEST for you as a client. I cannot recommend her enough and you can't go wrong in scheduling her for your next big shoot!

Your experience with me starts long before you step in front of my lens. I take the time and energy to get to know you & your story, so that I can capture the parts of your relationship that are authentically YOU. So that you can look back on the photos from this season of life, and feel like you're right back in that moment, feeling those same feels. To me, a perfectly posed & still photograph doesn't capture a feeling the way that a candid one can. I direct my couples to create images that are full of movement and those intimate in-between moments.

Shelby and her team were amazing to work with. They were extremely professional and edited our photos perfectly. Shelby found great locations at our venue for pictures, and was she took any and all suggestions I had regarding how to pose, who to pose with, and the style of photos. She made our wedding day that much better, and I recommend her for any event/photoshoots that you may need her services :)

Baha photographed our wedding reception and she was a joy to work with. She was really efficient, she went around the venue and got creative shots of the scenery and decorations that I just LOVE, and she was quick about getting all the family photos done so we could get back to the party! She was great about being professional and being stealthy, but she was also so much fun to be around that she was a great friendly addition to the reception. A few people asked me if she was a friend of mine because she fit right in! I will be requesting to work with Baha on my future photography endeavors because she's very good at listening to my photo requests and executing them in her own creative way.

We loved working with Kelly for our wedding in Redondo Beach. Kelly is dedicated to getting the shot - climbing up balconies to get the right angles and helping us pose correctly. We didn't know where to take photos and she suggested the best locations, they look incredible. She even helped to clean up a stain on my dress when something was spilled during our getting ready photos! Kelly is great to work with. She's quick to reply and her systems are modern and easy to use. It was simple to pay. Her website for photos is great and it was easy to review our photos and share them with family and friends. We also got a huge preview of photos just a few weeks after our Nov wedding, in time to order a holiday card on a Black Friday Sale and order some family gifts! Kelly is friendly, personable, and responsive. Her photos our beautiful. We'd recommend her to everyone and would pick her again and again if we got to do it all over.

Kristina Lee Photography

Long Beach, CA
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $3,700

Born in the desert (AZ Baby!) and relocated to the sea. I firmly believe that a good day starts with a cup of coffee and ends with glass of red wine. I own more jewelry than I do clothes and in my opinion, too much gold does not exist. My biggest passion will always be photography. I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was a little girl – I would even set up “stylized shoots” in my family’s living room that consisted of sheets pinned to the wall, my friends and fake flowers (embarrassing, but I’m not kidding!). I strive for those editorial, Vogue-like shots, but I really live for those private, in-between moments.

Awarded Best of Zola
I was referred to Kristina by my wedding venue's coordinator. I was having a destination wedding at a private estate and she had shot several weddings and shoots there before. Knowing that she knew the venue and seeing her work, I knew she was a top contender. Having great quality photos was hugely important to me, and that was something I wasn't willing to sacrifice quality on. Her style was exactly what I wanted—natural, soft, minimally edited, and not overly posed. However, a good wedding photographer is an investment, so I wanted to meet with her first. Luckily, she lives in the same town as I do, so I didn't have to travel to the destination to meet her. When I joined her for a glass of wine, we instantly clicked and I was immediately a YES. Before my husband would sign on the dotted line, he wanted to meet her as well. We met for a 2nd time, all three of us, and he also loved her right away. Having that connection to a photographer is SO important to make you feel comfortable throughout the event and truly trust them (photos are awkward, right?). The day could not have run more smoothly, thanks in large part to Kristina. She made taking photos fun for everyone and our bridal party also fell in love with her. Aside from being fun and personable, she was professional and kept us on a tight timeline. She also made sure we fit everything in on my wishlist: first look, first look with my dad, bridal party photos, family photos, table photos, dancing, the hora...didn't miss ANYTHING. I'm so in love with my photos from that day and so happy to have those lifelong memories. Since then, she's become a great friend. Anytime I want photos taken for a life event, I will ONLY use her. She's taken family holiday photos, photos of my pups, professional photos for my husband, and I will keep using only her for family photos in the future.

I am a documentary wedding photographer -- I'm all about capturing real moments. In my photographs, I’m always shooting with an eye for color, light, and dynamic shadows. I integrate these technical aspects with my background in film, literature and storytelling so with every wedding, I create a series of documentary photos that recreates the authentic narrative of a day. I’m always chasing the candid, the emotional, even the un-noticed everyday details; things that make you do a double take, little moments that make your heart swell.

Awarded Best of Zola
I showed my best friend some of Rebecca’s work when we were searching for photographers and she marveled that the folks in Rebecca’s photos “feel so much more like real people than other shoots like this.” That precisely captures Rebecca’s work + energy and confirmed our decision to work with her! We worked with Rebecca for our elopement ceremony and our tea ceremony and it was truly a special experience. Rebecca made an huge effort to know and support us as a couple before the event, which helped us trust that she would be there to capture all the right moments and then some! Our family and friends all loved her and we got many questions about how we knew her and if she was a friend of ours (she is now!); this really speaks to her kind, open, and genuine presence. She moved the event along while also treating everyone with respect and compassion. We already knew that her work was incredible and we couldn’t be happier with our own results. We cannot recommend Rebecca enough! You’ll get beautiful, soulful photos and the chance to have an amazing human in your life if you book her!

I live in Long Beach with my husband, and our beautiful dog-daughter Rita. If I'm not photographing my incredible clients, I'm watching any entertainment I can, from the latest HBO shows or movie releases. But, there's nothing better than drinking a beer and laughing at some quality reality television if you ask me! I also love reading while drinking coffee in the morning, but nothing tops hanging with my friends and family, enjoying some drinks and sharing some laughs.

My fiance and I were lucky enough to have Kathy photograph us for our engagement shoot and I cannot stress enough how incredible she was from beginning to end! Kathy is extremely personable and she works with the utmost level of professionalism. She checked in with us about a week prior to our shoot just to confirm and get as many additional details as possible. We had some questions re: outfits and she was more than happy to answer our questions and provide us with recommendations as to what would capture best/be best for the look we were going for. Prior to our photo shoot, Kathy scoped out our location in order to provide us with ideas re: the best places/positions to shoot in order to achieve the vision we both had. While shooting, she makes you feel completely comfortable and at ease - which made our job SO much easier! Kathy provided us with our finished pictures in no time at all - and we were in love with her work! She 100% captured the vision we were going for and we could not be any more thrilled with the way they turned out. Kathy - you are the best and we are so thankful for your work, as we now have these memories captured to enjoy for a lifetime :) Thanks again! Xo Jonathan & Lee

Hi you guys, my name's Natalie, & I'm so glad you're here! I’m a joy-filled, Southern California surfer girl who is in love with capturing weddings.  My style? It’s timeless, romantic, adventuresome, & personal. I’m dedicated to capturing fine elegance + raw beauty all the while keeping it real + being authentic. Your job is to be in love & live in that excitement with each other. My job is to make it easy + enjoyable for you two to be yourselves, 100%, as I frame and capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments in a way that only my mind can. Congratulations to you both! Looking forward to getting to know each other! xx Natalie

Natalie is the most professional, genuine, and talented wedding photographer. I promise you that you cannot and simply will not find a lovelier, more generous, or more brilliant person to help you sidestep stress and make the wedding planning process and wedding day a joy. At our wedding, three different people asked me if I'd later share her contact information with them for whenever they got married. Just think about that for a moment: three people were so blown away by Natalie's warmth, energy, and beautiful, bubbly personality that they would hire her on the spot without having yet seen her stunning work and even though they weren't engaged. Natalie's smile brightens up an entire room, and she has a truly remarkable way of making everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. She'll make you laugh, she'll keep your energy up, she'll capture the moments you dreamed would one day hang on your walls, and most of all, she will make you feel like your day, your marriage, and your love are the center of the entire world. This gift of her presence and love is extraordinary, and I promise you that it extends beyond anything you could ever hope or expect to receive from any wedding vendor. I cried when she sent us our photos because they are so profoundly beautiful and so full of the true emotion that she naturally drew from even the most reserved of our family members. Every photo was so natural and full of light and joy. Natalie has so much talent, and if you're one of her brides you'll quickly realize how lucky you are to have someone care so deeply about you and about capturing your special day. Before our wedding, Natalie spoke with me over email and on the phone, sent a thoughtful questionnaire to help us articulate our aesthetic and photography hopes, sent a quick engagement gift, and even checked in over text to make sure I was doing well the week before the wedding. After the wedding, she sent cute thank you gifts and GORGEOUS photos (you will love yours too!). But my favorite memory will always be from our wedding day when she took a moment to dance with my shy 5 year old nephew and draw him out of his shell so he could enjoy the party. The huge smile on his face will always be one of my most precious moments of our wedding day. My nephew, like so many of our guests, still ask about Natalie all the time. It was a pleasure to work with Natalie and to get to know her, and I hope you too will be fortunate to experience Natalie's light, love, and unparalleled talent.

Ayyy it’s ya girl Tida (like pita)! I’m not just another photographer – I’m your hype girl, your ally, your eyes and your ears on your wedding day. I’ll be there freaking out shouting “YASSS OMG HOT FIRE ALERT” hyping you up during portraits because holy-shit you look amazing AF! I’ll be dancing circles around your guests while I shove my camera in their faces, fixing your hair when the wind gets too cray, and confidently (and loudly) directing your family portrait time. I’m a tiny ball of giant energy and gurl, it shows on your wedding day – TRUST.

From the moment we met Tida, we felt her energy was going to be a great compliment to our Wedding day. She was very easy to work with and really went above and beyond for us on several occasions. We battled crazy PNW weather and her flexibility allowed us to get fall engagement photos we were thrilled with. She crossed mountain passes during the snow storm of the year and arrived a day early to ensure she wouldn't miss a moment on our Wedding day. The result...gorgeous wedding photos we got thanks to her handy work and a foot of fresh snow!! Since then she's taken the time to do holiday mini-sessions with us that included our fabulous new fur-baby for our family Christmas cards. She stopped at nothing to get his attention! It's been great having someone we trust that feels more like a friend to help us document our journey. We look forward to her capturing many more moments to come!

I'm admittedly wary when it comes to the Wedding Industry and all of it's bells/whistles/expectations, and at the same time, I believe wholeheartedly in the power of community, love, commitment, and collective joy. I think that weddings-- in all of their forms and reclamations-- ultimately serve a great purpose in reminding us of these gifts. I come from a long line of meticulous documenters and hold a degree in Sociology, all of which informs the way I approach photography. I am curious about people, am in awe of the display of emotion, and am passionate about the ways in which we construct family and community.

My wife and I are so unbelievably grateful we found Kenzie to shoot our wedding. From the first moment we saw her photos, to the first moment we met her, we knew she was perfect for us. And we were correct. Wedding photography can be a very tired, overdone, overwrought and overcopied experience and Kenzie is none of those things. Kenzie sees people and human interaction and the overall human experience for what it is. She knows how to catch real moments. Nothing was forced, nothing was fake. She is a true artist. She was so wonderful to work with and talk to about what we were looking for and she gave us photos we will cherish forever. I'm getting teary-eyed thinking about how great our photos came out and how the overall process was with her, at a time when making decisions and picking the right vendors is a full-job, stressful job. She is a total pro and does not get in the way and isn't aggressive - in fact, she's one of the nicest people you could ask to work with. I think if it's not already obvious, we couldn't recommend her enough. She's a true true artist and I am, and will continue to be, a huge fan of her work, and find it so exciting to see what she does next. My wife and I will be forever grateful to her.

My name is Jonathan Moore. I am a Los Angeles based wedding photographer and available worldwide. I'll get right to it: The very last thing I want is for you to think of your experience with me as a "photoshoot." I think that posed "prom" photos are totally lame and reflect absolutely nothing unique about you or your partner. After all, you are not actors pretending to be "in love," so why should your images reflect that? At the core, your images should ultimately remind you of why you fell in love in the first place. This is what we're celebrating!

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Jonathan was awesome! Communication was easy and we met with him and did a tour of the venue to align on exactly what we wanted. He was super helpful on the day but didn’t get in the way at all! The photos were absolutely amazing, we seriously couldn’t be happier with the output. He really captured who we are and how we feel About each other without any awkward posing which I personally hate lol. Thanks so much!!!

Authentic, timeless, essence, natural, and candid are the most significant narratives when capturing a wedding day and are always at the center of the brand's heart. We love natural light, a strong action-stopping camera flash, capturing enchanting couples with inventive dance moves, making new friends, a flowing champagne tower, and a heartfelt toast.

I LOVE working with Ivy. I sifted through what felt like 50 wedding photographers and came out completely defeated because while they were talented, their photos didn't capture what I was hoping to remember looking back at my wedding day photos. Then I randomly found Ivy and she easily is the best thing I've ever found on Google, no joke, hahah. Her style of photography and approaching our wedding day allowed us to still take the traditional family portraits, but honestly, I hardly look back on those compared to how much I fawn over all of the other photos of the day/night that she took. They look straight from a magazine and Ivy made it so easy to be comfortable and completely trust that she would give us incredible photos, which she totally did. I seriously can't recommend Ivy enough. I actually still keep in touch with her because she's so talented and we collaborate often! (:

James Korin Photography was recommended to me by a friend whose sister used them for her wedding day. The quality of the photos are awesome. A lot of photos nowadays are super contrasted or look like a preset threw up on them, but James Korin photos are timeless and beautiful — not trendy preset photos. Our wedding photos are beautiful! Fitz Carlile Photography

5.0

Los Angeles, CA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,000

The kind of work I do within the wedding photography genre is very distinct - every image stands on its own as a thoughtful composition as if from a cinematic art house film or high-end commercial/editorial shoot. My color grading is immediately identifiable and unique - developed through years of studying color theory - uncommon today in a sea of 'presets' that other photographers purchase on the internet for they have no knowledge of how to build their own. My compositions are often quirky, surprising, different. I always attempt to show a point of view that's uncommon and fascinating to the viewer.

Awarded Best of Zola
Fitz Carlile is a master of light, and can make virtually any setting look like the most romantic place in the world. He immediately puts you at ease. We had to scrap our original wedding plans due to COVID-19, but Fitz remained a willing and enthusiastic participant through it all. Our recommendation to couples trying to plan weddings in this crazy time we've all found ourselves in? Go small. Don't cancel. And your photographer should be your number 1 priority. Photographs are the only concrete thing you'll own to remember your special day, and you will not be disappointed with Fitz. He's a true storyteller and his photos are magic.

I’m a destination wedding photographer who loves to travel, take photos, drink, and eat… I know, you’ve probably never heard of ANYONE else with those likes. Haha! What can I say – I’m basic. ;). I’ve always had a love and fascination with movies, tv shows, Vanity Fair magazines, and looking at the history and style from the Mad Men era. They have something so timeless and yet meaningful about them?! Both their posed and candid moments – I DIE! I have been so fortunate that I’ve been able to take the things that inspire me and apply them organically to my wedding photography.

We booked because we loved her style and our first call to get to know each other went so well! Georgie has a fantastic team. We had Elaine as our first shooter and Richard as our second shooter. Georgie picked out an amazing spot for our sunset photos before the day, plus provided tons of helpful info, like checklists for the day of. Georgie and her team really keep your best interests in mind and work hard to get the right shots and keep you on schedule!

Hi! I'm Hannah, your So Cal (but traveling) elopement and intimate wedding photographer! I'm so glad you're here. My photography style is a documentary/natural photographer. This means I'm more about documenting your moments and helping you create genuine smiles/moments in photos, opposed to just posing you, i want you to dance and have fun, snuggle into your partner and get those intimate moments. (I'll of course help you figure out what to do with your hands, because lets me honest, even I don't know what to do with my hands in photos. Haha) I love traveling, I love adventure, and I love making friends out of my clients.

Having Hannah as our wedding photographer was easily the greatest decision we made! Hannah was incredibly professional, kind, informative, easy to work with, easy to talk to, great communicator, and listened to all our needs. My husband and I are very awkward and uncomfortable when it comes to taking photos (taking professional photos was a new thing for us) and Hannah made sure we were comfortable from start to finish. By the time the wedding came around we knew exactly what to do thanks to her easy to follow tips, tricks, advice and guidance. Hannah captured our wedding beautifully, and we are forever grateful for her. We will be going to her for our future events and highly recommend her to everyone.

I would have rated it 5 stars just on the quality from the day, but as you can see the after product was phenomenal. They did both photography and videography and the wedding highlight video was absolutely beautiful. My father in law said watching it makes him feel like he's right there back on that day, and I feel the same way. Hanna Walkowaik is a wedding photographer based in Los Angeles, California, frequenting Chicago & NYC, traveling all around the world to capture love. Hanna creates artful and storytelling images of your day using digital and film. Her photos are filled with vibrant colors, candid moments and touches of nostalgia. She mixes editorial and documentary styles to not only give you beautiful portraits and captured memories but artistic images to hang in your home. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in photography her approach is artistic, purposeful and technically skillful.

Hanna is truly exceptional! We could not have asked for a better person to capture our wedding day. When my now-husband and I first started searching for wedding photographers, we were drawn to Hanna for her immensely beautiful and versatile portfolio. We spoke over Zoom and felt immediately comfortable with her — she has such a calming presence, made us feel like we had been friends forever, and assured us that she would help our vision come to life. We didn’t have much photography knowledge — we knew we wanted to take some shots in a nature setting like a park, and that we wanted someone who could capture color, as our venue had a specific aesthetic with green and blue walls. Hanna provided the most wonderful guidance for our photos and our day — she scouted many locations around our venue for our wedding portraits, taking into account the proximity and the nature setting we wanted. When we picked one, Hanna went to the spot the week before at the exact time we’d be there, so she would know the specific lighting and locations that would best fit. She also, months in advance, made a timeline for us to help guide the day and ensure that we had a schedule to keep everything on track. This was SO helpful and made the day so much smoother. On the day of our wedding, Hanna couldn’t have been more magnificent. She made us feel so at ease, which was paramount on a day that had so many heightened emotions. We aren’t used to working with professional photographers and were initially nervous that we would feel awkward, but Hanna truly made us feel so calm, comfortable, and joyous. She made the entire experience SO fun, and multiple of our wedding guests commented on how kind she was to them. Now the photos…the PHOTOS. Within a week of our wedding Hanna sent us our sneak peeks — about 160 of them, which is far beyond what we expected. They are stunning. Truly, stunning. She has sent us a gorgeous mix of color, black and white, and film. Our wedding day felt like such a whirlwind and Hanna captured all the emotions and all the moments in ways that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. I can’t look at them without being transported back to that day and the specific happenings — from our first look to our first dance — and feeling so overcome with happiness. I can’t choose a favorite because they are all stunning (and all our friends and family keep telling us with how much they love our photos). I’m especially appreciative of Hanna scouting a spot right near our getting ready spot that we hadn’t seen before that looks like a forest, and having us pose there for truly magical pictures. We also have some night shots and some photos from the bar area at our venue that look so editorial and glamorous that I can’t believe it’s us. Trust me, work with Hanna and follow her guidance. She leads with thoughtfulness and intention and it shows. You will get to know a terrifically talented and kind person and your wedding photos will not only be aesthetically marvelous, but you will feel like you get to relive your wedding day every time you look at them. Hanna is THE BEST and we are so grateful to have had the honor of working with her.

Jonathan and Elisabeth were so incredible to work with! I got married in November 2019 and Jonathan was my lead photographer - he has an incredible eye for detail. Before each picture he made sure my hair looked perfect and was even asking people to take things out of their pockets so they didn’t show in the pictures. Before my wedding I had concerns that there would not be enough lighting during the reception and I should never have worried, Jonathan made sure all photos were naturally lit and looked gorgeous. I continuously get compliments on my pictures. I searched so long to find the perfect photographer and I am so happy I found Jonathan and Elisabeth! I believe the best photos occur when... artistry and intentionality meet moments of heartfelt connection. I'll guide you towards the dreamiest light and offer unobtrusive direction that lends to natural movements and sincere emotion. I also slow things down and help re-center everyone, creating space for beautiful moments to unfold, like mom fluffing your veil, dad's expression when he sees you all dressed up, and fleeting looks between you and your partner.

Elyana is so easy going and fun. She will be a calming presence on your big day, but will also know when to gently take control to keep the schedule going. She knows how to capture images filled with beautiful light and a lot of emotions. When I look back at my wedding images, they really feel like us. They don't look forced or overly posed. I feel like they really capture our spirits, so to speak. This kind of photography doesn't just require technical skills, but that's when the true artistry kicks in, and this is what sets Elyana apart. We'd choose her again any day!

I'm Becca, a midwest transplant in Los Angeles (yes, one of those people), wife/homebody, Christian, and newfound happy plant lady. My day is made whenever I see a cat, I cycle through re-watch binges of my favorite shows constantly, and I always have something home-baked on hand in my kitchen. I’m pretty used to third-wheeling it and am excited to be any couple’s wedding day companion and new lifelong friend & coffee date!

Choosing Rebecca for our engagement session was one of the best first decisions we have ever made as we started our journey to our big day. Rebecca was absolutely the right person to capture all of our unadulterated and perfect moments. She was very professional with how she listened to the elements that we wanted for the background. Since my fiance and I came from the Philippines, we wanted photos that were unique with the beach and palm trees of California. She worked with the idea and found options for the shoot. She was also very mindful of the weather forecast and made the right decision to cancel when she knew it was going to rain on the date we initially chose. Rebecca did not only produce beautiful photos with her eye for detail and talent to blend light and nature, she captured our character as a couple. It is rare to find someone like that. Photographers can point and shoot but for someone who will be able to be at that exact moment and see the REAL you as a couple is priceless. We had great conversations during the shoot and it felt like we were out for a walk with a long time friend. I highly recommend Rebecca for her professionalism, punctuality, passion and heart.

We are Sienna plus Josh, adventure elopement photographers [who also eloped!] in 2011 and we have been shooting weddings and adventuring ever since. We are here to help you navigate the path of forging your OWN path. Going the adventure elopement route is intimate, authentic, and empowering...with a day that is truly reflective of your relationship and defines the two of you! One of the best things about eloping is that you get to throw away the rule book and write your own. Whether that is spending your wedding day on a mountaintop in Oregon, among the waterfalls in Iceland, or the warm desert of California.

I have been lucky to style a few elopements Sienna Plus Josh have photographed. They are so kind and professional, always putting their nervous clients at ease- in the end creating an incredible gallery. Their work speaks for itself, but as someone who has met them personally they are a joy to hang out with as well.

We focus on creativity, but at the same time, we make sure that our photos and videos look great even when the time passes.

Cinestory is an incredible vendor to work with. They are detailed, professional and make sure they exceed their clients expectations. They are the full package and take the time to get to know and care even more after the event is over. I love working with them!

I took up photography at the ripe age of 11 with a Polaroid I borrowed from an aunt. It quickly became my sketchbook as I worked to capture stills of the world and people around me. Those images have continued to pay emotional dividends throughout my life, helping me better understand what I have now come to see through a new scope. They are grounding, melancholic, funny and beautiful. Some of my most cherished possessions.

Hands down the best photographer for your wedding! Thank you Daniel for our memories!

Love stories are an infinite source of inspiration to me and I believe that the most magical images are made up of connection, emotion, and light. I wholeheartedly believe that you should live in the moments you want to remember forever and we feel so grateful to have the opportunity to work with such incredible couples who have the same approach to love and values that we share.

Hiring Jen. for my branding photoshoot is the best decision I’ve made. I completely trusted that she would capture me in a beautiful exquisite way. Her approach to lighting and art is perfection. It me! I am your new third wheel, your new childhood friend, your new girl behind the camera! I've been doing this whole living my dream thing for 7 years now and I couldn't be happier! It all started one fall summer night at winters end... totally kidding one day I just said "F-THIS! Photography makes me unbelievably happy, Let's do this!" But my joy is not only from photographing love. It's also because I married the most amazing man on this planet. Leonard is my best friend of 10 years and husband for 7! I still dream about our wedding day and feel like I am always living in that wedding day happiness.

Cindy was a dream photographer to have. She’s so caring, responsive and professional. We had a couple mishaps with the cake and first dance but Cindy knew what to do to fill in the time and what to shift on our timeline which put me at ease on our big day! I would recommend Cindy to everyone because she will honestly be the best photographer you could hire. She checks all the boxes plus her photos, don’t even get me started, I never felt so pretty in life! She captured treasure moments that’ll last forever!

My earliest memories of photography are from when I attended weddings at 5 or 6 years old. I would photograph everyone at these weddings with a small, plastic, film camera and loved every moment. That joy of photography and capturing beauty and love has stayed with me ever since. I have a better camera now, but I still can't wait to capture your love.

I have hired Tom to take headshots for me as a musician, as well as to photograph my engagement to my fiancee in August 2020. He is extremely talented as a photographer, and I couldn't have asked for anyone better for those jobs. He makes clients feel comfortable and beautiful, which gets them to look and feel their best for the photos.
