I’m Cherlyn (rhymes with Berlin). So nice to e-meet you! If we met in person and it wasn’t during a pandemic- I would probably hug you! I’m an introvert-extrovert and tend to ramble too much when I get nervous. In emails - I tend to use exclamation points a lot!! (and will agonize over my drafts of emails before sending them because they probably have one too many!!) My aim as your photographer is to provide a memorable experience where you two feel comfortable, taken care of, and get to fully enjoy your wedding day as much as possible with all your guests & loved ones - whether they be in real life or via livestream!

Cherlyn is a dream. A friend of ours recommended her to us for our engagement photos and I swear she has some inside scoop with the sun because the lighting was insane (in a good way). She literally managed to find every single shimmer the golden hour had to offer. My husband (never gets old) and I pulled together a somewhat last minute ceremony and reached out equally last minute to see if she was available, and thankfully she was. Our ceremony was followed by dinner and drinks at two separate locations hours apart - so we had super low expectations for capturing the whole day. Cherlyn not only came to each location, she helped with set up, and did her thing making sure every special moment was photographed. She's personable, thoughtful and will go out of her way to make you and your partner feel comfortable. For us she felt like an extension of our community and a new friend. If you're in the SF Bay Area, look no further. You won't be disappointed.

Khariza Rae Photography

  • Starts at $3,200

Welcome. My name is Khariza and I am a San Francisco based wedding, portrait and lifestyle photographer. Think of me as a professional third-wheel, or better yet as your friend with a camera! I am dedicated to capturing authentic photos that feel true to who you are!

Awarded Best of Zola
I am so happy we hired Khariza to photograph our wedding and she is one of my favorite vendors that we worked with! From the very first conversation we had, she really made me and my (now) husband feel comfortable and was very professional while still warm & friendly. Throughout the process she was very communicative, responsive and easy to work with. We did first look photos at a separate location than our wedding which happened to be a busy park, and she went above and beyond to map out ahead of time exactly where we would meet which was so helpful! I'm pretty self conscious in front of a camera but Khariza's energy really made me feel at ease and she was able to really capture our essence as a couple. At the wedding itself she captured all of the perfect moments of our ceremony and reception, including really fun and lively candids of our guests. Our wedding had a really fun and intimate vibe and the photos she took really reflect that. I could not have been happier with the end results and would 100% hire her again if I could!!

Hi, I’m Isaac. In my world, light is everything. The cool ambient hues at dawn, hinting at what the day may bring. Golden sun rays catching particles through a tree as friends gathers to celebrate. A Cotton candy sunset peppered by patio string-lights as a DJ plays my favorite song. We all have timeless memories logged in our minds. For me, they are based in a language of light. As a wedding photographer, this deep connection to special lighting helps me produce dynamic visual stories of romance, personality and beauty.

Isaac and his team were incredible to work with. He came highly recommended from a friend of ours who got married a few years ago and we were really pleased to be introduced. After seeing his work, we were sure we wanted to work with him. The wedding was in San Francisco and it was a real pleasure to have Isaac there on our day, and the photos look amazing. There are so many fun and gorgeous moments captured, we are very thankful for the skilled photos. The lighting is phenomenal.

My name is Cassie and I am a hybrid film + digital photographer, completely fascinated by the human story and the parts of it that we all share. My aim is to tell the story of your love and laughter through images that are timeless and intentional. I believe in storytelling through details, emotional portraits, and finding those quiet moments in the midst of celebration. I love capturing real moments that help my couples remember how they felt on their wedding day, through the lens of my own airy and dreamy style.

Awarded Best of Zola
Cassie and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with! From the very start, working with us during our engagement photos, she was easy going and made the whole photo shoot process very fun. During that session she got to know us, learned what kind of photos we liked and listened to what we were expecting during the wedding day. The engagement photos came out perfectly, so of course we knew the wedding ones would be too! On our wedding day, Cassie went above and beyond to help corral our large group of family and friends for all of the various photos we wanted. She made the experience so fun and we had a blast taking photos with our loved ones on our special day. Cassie’s turnaround time is also very impressive. She worked hard to get us sneak peak photos immediately after the wedding and the full album came shortly after. We cannot recommend Cassie enough to anyone who wants beautiful photos taken by someone who makes you feel comfortable and have fun during the process!

Jasmine Lee is a destination wedding and lifestyle photographer residing in San Francisco, California. She is devoted to discerning couples and individuals that value the quality of crafting artistic and timeless imagery they will cherish for a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
If you're looking for an AMAZING photographer that is kind and cares so deeply to make sure you get the photos of your dreams, you found her! Jasmine is literally so kind. I honestly think the best decision we made for our wedding was hiring Jasmine as our photographer. Before booking, Jasmine wanted to meet us via google meets to get to know each other before we made the decision of booking her. She asked for our love story and what we hope out of our wedding photos, and boy did she hit it right on the nail! She did an amazing job getting us photos we will cherish forever. She also told us her thoughts on having a first look (we were against it at first), and we decided to take her advice. Our first look was my favorite part of the entire wedding! A few days after our wedding, she gave us our sneak peeks, it was the PERFECT amount to keep us satisfied until we got the rest and of course they did not disappoint. We immediately printed out photos for our living room and printed out family portraits for each of our parents. When I think back to all the best parts of my wedding, Jasmine's photos captured it all for me. Thank you Jasmine for being the best photographer.

Sarah Peterson Photography

I'm a Bay Area native with over 12 years in the commercial photography realm. I got my start on the beaches of Los Angeles back in 2012 shooting commercial swimwear campaigns for some of the best designers in swim and fashion. That opened the door to countless opportunities with modeling agencies, reality television, and fashion design. In 2018 I made the move back up north to San Francisco where I grew up. With a wide network of friends and family up here, I found myself catapulted into the Wedding and Elopement industry - and absolutely loved it! I'm honored when I get to be a part of one of the best days of a couple's life together.

Awarded Best of Zola
We are SO happy we had Sarah as our photographer. From the very beginning when we first reached out, she was organized and on top of her game! After our initial consult we knew we had to book her ASAP. Sarah is such a bright and fun presence. She brought the BEST energy to both our sunrise engagement shoot and our full wedding day when a hype woman is exactly what we needed. She is positive, confident, fun, and just plain GREAT at what she does! As for her photography, I’m sure that can speak for itself - it is truly gorgeous!! She beautifully captures meaningful moments and the results are phenomenal. She got so many sweet candid and action shots that captured the emotions of the day so well. Finally, Sarah was always professional and great with communication. It helps that she is a genuinely kind person who so clearly wants your day to turn out perfectly! Seriously, you won’t go wrong with booking Sarah. 11/10 would choose her again in a heartbeat!

My name is Helena, pronounced Ha-Leen-nuh (don't worry I get it all the time haha) I am a San Francisco native and ex-Silicon Valley techie who decided to take leap of faith (during the pandemic) to pursue my dreams of being a full-time Wedding Photographer. This journey has been SO wild, but I don't regret a minute of it. When you hire me, you hire not only a photographer, but a planner and a cheerleader as well ;) If you like dogs or cats, coffee (oat milk lattes FTW), thriving plants, outdoor adventures, dancing, and sunsets, I think we'll get along great ;)

Helena beautifully captured our elopement last month. Her photos are warm, natural, and full of personality. I don't think my husband and I could have been happier with how the photos turned out. We ended up taking formal wedding photos at the Palace of Fine Arts and some more casual couple portraits on Crissy Field Beach. The majority of the comments we got from friends and family were centered around how epic and awesome our photos turned out and how our photographer choice was a 10/10. Behind the scenes, she was an endless source of enthusiasm and encouragement, and gave us amazing posing tips and suggestions. Even prior to the big day, she meticulously spent time discussing outfits, locations, and logistics to make sure the day was perfect. We're so glad we were able to jump on the Helena rocket ship as her career as a full time wedding photographer takes off. After our session, our close friends were so impressed with our photos that they booked their engagement and wedding shots with her as well. We have no doubt that her accolades will pile up and she'll be a go to recommendation for our friends and family. Definitely book her for your engagement, wedding, and photo shoots!

Julio brings a great energy to the wedding festivities. I was a bit nervous being the center spotlight in photos and his fun/calm demeanor made our photos fun and feel like a breeze AND they turned out amazing! I asked for Julio to capture the party and everyone having a great time and he did just that. It is so fun to look back on the photos and feel like I'm there again :) He was very easy to coordinate with and overall a delight to work with. My sister-in-law ended up having Julio come to her vow renewal and was also amazed at how all of the photos turned out. He is basically part of the family at this point! He is filled with so much joy and happiness, and he truly made the day wonderful just with his presence. His business, Portrait of a Young Couple is truly inspiring and it tells you how great Vincent is as he captures these weddings free of charge in return for your story. I learned all about his business the day I worked with him, and he is so passionate and truly loves what he does. After the wedding, I was able to see the photos that Vincent took, and not only was he great to work with but his photos are amazing too. I am truly thrilled to be sitting here writing this amazing review for Jodee. Where do I even begin? I met Jodee while working at a wedding and her personality just blew me away. On the day of the event we were working she was all smiles and nothing but her being the sweetest person ever! When it came time to make the big decision of who I wanted to be, my wedding photographer Jodee instantly came to mind. I loved her style of photography true to color and she captures those moments you will cherish forever. As my fiance and I are officially a year out from our wedding I wanted to take our engagement photos somewhere magical. I called Jodee and let her know that we were thinking of Yosemite National Park. Jodee was nothing but excited to shoot in this location and this is when all the fun began. Let me just tell you Jodee is great at reaching out and keeping in contact with you for all your needs. When it came time to booking our reservation at Yosemite Jodee handled everything from making the reservation to finding out all info regarding parking and food and locations. This task was not easy given the circumstances currently during COVID Yosemite has changed their rules currently and it was a much different process to go to the park unlike in the past. Jodee was quick to jump on the computer and read about everything we needed to make this trip successful. She had a whole schedule that made our time there truly memorable. I can truly say that when we arrived it felt like everything was normal again and we were amongst nature and we felt free. When the big day came Jodee showed up early and scouted the area before we got there to find the best possible areas for our shoot! We had planned for one whole day of shooting till sunset and a beautiful sunrise shoot too. Jodee was game for everything! We had four outfit changes and several different locations for our photoshoot from Taft Point, Glacier Point, and El Capitan Meadow just to name a few. Each location was more magical than the other. Did I mention how easy it was to feel comfortable around Jodee too? It felt so seamless and easy we never felt like we were posed or uncomfortable she also knows the tricks to make you laugh. During that time it was so great to get to know more about here and her career and how she got started in photography. I am so grateful that I found Jodee and after our engagement shoot I am only more excited to see what magical photos she captures on our wedding day. I cannot stress enough how amazing this woman is. My professional background was cultivated in the field of architecture and design. But around 2010, my obsession with photography overcame my passion for architecture and I changed course. Through years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve developed a genuine love and appreciation for these emotional events. To me, weddings are emotionally-charged, symbolic celebrations. They often inspire pure expressions, words and feelings from the couple and their family and friends.

Awarded Best of Zola
Mandy Scott Events has worked with Duy Ho Photography many times since we first met as part of the team for a multi-day destination Indian wedding in 2014. Duy is the photographer I most often recommend to my clients. He does not consider himself an artist but a craftsman; I see him as both. His images reflect a unique artistry crafted from years spent figuring out the use of natural light and framing of his subject. He tells the story of the wedding day for his clients capturing emotion and documenting the events as they unfold in an unfussy way. He is always well prepared ahead of the event and exudes a calm energy throughout even the most hectic and longest of wedding days. He is quick to deliver a sneak peak to clients right after their big day and their gallery is always delivered in a timely manner. Can you tell I'm a huge fan of his work?!

Artistic storytelling for the fun, kind and adventurous. Hi friend! :) I'm your neighborhood artist, goofy empath, & lover of dogs and human beans. (Name is pronounced Hasmeen, kinda like jalapeño) My goal is to be a source of joy and vulnerability in your life while helping you feel grounded on your big day and ~even more~ grateful for the life you live and the love you choose.

Jazmín made our wedding day so incredibly special, capturing every detail and all the big moments as well. She is SO talented! From being willing to balance on a mossy log to get some gorgeous water pictures to making my husband and me (and our bridal party) feel so comfortable in front of a camera, Jazmín is so professional, kind, and has an eye for capturing the feeling and beauty of a place. She covered our day from beginning to end, and without her, we wouldn't have had many pictures from our day. We've never had professional photos taken of us before, and every photo Jazmín has taken of us is our favourite. We feel REALLY lucky to have had her there to capture so many moments of that day and to be able to look back on her work brings back so many happy memories. Thank you, Jazmín! (BOOK HER for your engagement shoots, your weddings, your family portraits - it'll be the BEST thing you do!).

Tara was amazing from beginning to end. We absolutely loved her photography style when we first came across her as a preferred vendor of our wedding venue (Beltane Ranch), but knew that we also needed to love HER if we were to spend the majority of our special day with her by our side. Luckily, from the moment we had our first chat with Tara, we knew she'd be perfect for us. Our engagement photo shoot at the Sutro Baths in San Francisco was the perfect way to get to know Tara's style and she helped us bring our vision to life in the shoot. Once we got to the wedding day, we completely trusted Tara to nail it - and, boy, did she deliver! She was SO efficient and organized. It was certainly a huge benefit that she knew our venue, but I am certain she would have been just as impressive in any environment. One of the best aspects of hiring Tara, ultimately, is her art. Her photography is truly a work of art. She has an incredible eye and managed to make two very awkward gals (my wife and I) feel incredibly comfortable behind the camera. We are just enamored with the photos she took and will cherish them for a lifetime. The cherry on top of all of it was that she turned around our photos within 1 week of the wedding! We received the digital album during our honeymoon and it was so fun to reminisce while still celebrating. Thank you for everything, Tara!

Photoflood Studio ✌

5.0

San Francisco, CA
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $5,000

Courtney & Jackson are wedding, elopement & family photographers based in San Francisco, California but available for travel worldwide. We go wherever love takes you. Photoflood Studio is a wife + husband team from San Francisco, California. We are wedding photographers servicing NorCal to SoCal and beyond. Photoflood Studio specializes in wedding, engagement, and family photography. We aim to photograph life + love through an honest documentary approach. Our wedding, engagement and family photography is inspired by the beautiful wilderness, the culture of our coastal cities, and wherever you call home.

Courtney and Jackson of Photoflood Studios changed our entire wedding experience for the best, and we couldn't be more thankful that we selected them as our photographers. When we started the wedding planning process, it was overwhelming and a little intimidating, especially when we started looking at vendor prices. My husband and I both knew that we wanted to spend the money on a quality photographer because the photos are something we will have forever. When we started browsing, we didn't feel connected to anyone's work until we saw C+J's website. I instantly knew that this is who I wanted, and it didn't take much convincing to get my husband on board. It felt SO good to check photographer off our list early in the game. One thing I loved was that Courtney met us in person to discuss our visions and just to get to know each other before we committed to a contract (it's a big commitment, people!). I emailed her within 48 hours that we wanted to work together, and the rest is history. My husband and I decided we could not afford a videographer, so instead we knew we wanted two photographers. BEST. DECISION. EVER. Courtney and Jackson handled our engagement session and wedding day so seamlessly, it was like they'd been taking our pictures our whole lives! And, we had never had professional pictures taken before! But, I read online that engagement photos are a good warmup and practice for wedding pictures (highly recommend engagement pictures for anyone who is unsure). These two are the epitome of a dream team. We were nervous for our engagement pictures, but they made us feel so comfortable and confident. They also took the time to go to the wedding venue ahead of time and scope out some great locations for our bridal party and newly wed shots. C+J were HUGE proponents to making our wedding day a success. They transformed into photographer/time keepers/event planners - I think they are super heroes!!! Our wedding experience was so flawless with them capturing our special day. We requested a "mega selfie" with us and all our guests, and they made that happen! We snuck off during dinner for the sunset newly wed shots, and they personally drove us around chasing the sunset. It's inexplicable how wonderful these people are. They are so much more than talented photographers, and we are so fortunate to now call them friends. Something else that was really important is that even with all of their photoshoots and other clients, Courtney ALWAYS responded to my emails in a timely manner. She was so on it, and that made me feel really valued and heard. I appreciated that so much, because I was a nervous bride who didn't know what I was getting into. The fact that I always got an email response in a timely fashion was huge brownie points in my book. AND, they send you sneak peeks!! Literally the day after our engagement shoot and wedding day, they sent us a bunch of sneak peeks! There is literally nothing better than getting a taste of your special memories to hold you over until the full gallery is ready. If you are on the fence about photographers, know that your time with C+J of Photoflood Studios will be one of the best parts of your wedding. They want to capture you and your partner as you are, and will never make you feel posed, uncomfortable, or phony. I could write a book about these two and how incredible they made our wedding day. But I'll stop here and just make one final point: Hire them....You will not regret it!!!

Storytelling photography that brings your story to life. There is a story to everything right? There is certainly one to your wedding and even to a portrait session. The in-between moments can be the best moments! Images tell a story and they are there for me to find. This isn’t one image. It is a series of images that provoke emotion and thought. This happens with trust and openness and I know I can only get this if you trust me and I am open enough for you to do that. When there is this intimacy, I can get to the heart of the images and that is when the storytelling photography happens.

For some unknown reason I have loved weddings since I was a kid. That’s the first thing. But then… I got married. And that is indescribable. So… if you happen to be here because you have met someone special, and you are making moves, CONGRATULATIONS! You really are in for the ride of a lifetime. So… my first photos? Yup. They were from a wedding! Unfortunately they took the human knee as their subject because I was short, because I was five years old. One auspicious day I brought a camera to a friends’ wedding. I partied. I had a fabulous time. Afterwards they told me I should have said something, my photos were better than the hired pro.

We hired Paul for our San Francisco wedding and it was easily one of the best decisions we made. In addition to beautifully (and creatively) capturing the energy and excitement of the day, Paul was also an absolutely pleasure to work with at ever step of the way. Our wedding was in San Francisco this past August and had approximately 65 people in attendance. To say that we had high expectations for our wedding photographer was an understatement: we wanted someone who would be able to capture the dynamic energy and emotion of our big day in a natural, joyful way. I am happy to say that Paul exceeded all of our expectations and then some. We initially reached out to Paul in February through his website and we scheduled an introductory phone call. At that time I was chatting with a few different photographers in the Bay Area but was impressed at Paul's thoughtful questions regarding our vision of big day as well as the logistical considerations (venue locations, lighting , size, etc). From our first meeting at his lovely home, Paul was kind, thoughtful, considerate which made us feel like we were in good hands and helped put us at ease during the craziness of the planning. He asked us to consider which moments would be most important to our wedding and helped us think through the logistics of the day. Paul was also helpful in planning some of the big day itself: we had scheduled a city tour with our guests to occur between the ceremony and reception but were unsure where to go in the city. He recommended locations that would be both enjoyable for our guests and would make good backdrops for photos. In addition to the city tour, the day itself had a lot of moving parts which could have been really challenging to photograph (indoor ceremony in City Hall, outdoor brass band parade in full sunlight, indoor reception with low lighting in small antique store). Paul and his second shooter were well prepared and able to shot gorgeous photos in every location. Paul was also very mindful of which moments would be most meaningful to us. For example, we had mentioned that we specifically wanted lots of dancing photos from the reception and so Paul made sure a remote flash lighting system was set up in the reception venue which made for some fantastic dance floor shots. We had also said that we wanted to make sure we had a lot of candid photos of our friends of family and so Paul made sure to mingle among our guests, putting them at ease and getting natural, candid photos of our loved ones. After the wedding, Paul was able to send us our sneak peaks only after 24 hours (!) and the full gallery a short time after that. At this point, I was already very impressed but what happened after that really blew me away: Paul emailed me a few weeks after the wedding to me to ask if he could photograph some details from the wedding that he wasn't able to get on the big day (handkerchiefs from the brass band parade, wedding invitations, etc). He told me that he felt that those details were important in telling the story of our wedding and he wanted to make sure they were captured. I realize that it would've been easy for Paul to simply send the photos he already had but the fact that he found it was important to capture all the small details really speaks to his thoughtfulness, professionalism and excellence. We can't thank you enough, Paul!

She came and did my engagement photos in San Luis Obispo (where we got engaged) and then drove to Yosemite for the big day! She is an absolute joy to be around and such a nice person. Her photos made me feel beautiful! She really does well in capturing the candid moments. I would 100% call her again for any life event in the future!

Photojournalistic touches naturally will occur throughout the wedding to achieve a more “candid” look. Inspired by fine art wedding photographer legends, we provide all our couples with an aesthetic using conceptual undertones to achieve a final product that is extremely different from the objective approach of a photojournalist.

I've been working with Apollo for years and absolutely love them. His team is so talented and fun to work with. They are organized, professional and know how to take care of couples on their wedding day. Their pictures amaze me every time!

i believe in capturing your day as it unfolds. documenting what is happening not dictating it. making sure those little detailed moments don’t go unnoticed. there is so much beauty to be told when you just let things happen as they will. i study what is in front of me, in real time — the people, the emotion, the light when it hits a certain way and then encapsulate it for you. i am deeply rooted in my feelings and want my images to reflect that as well as reflect the emotion of the day. my hope is that you can look back at your images and relive every loving moment.

Jenna is a true artist and amazing at what she does! The photos she shot for our wedding were way beyond your standard affair and belong in a gallery. She is extremely professional and kept a low profile throughout our big day. Jenna captured not only the obvious moments but also the sweetest in between candids we could never have anticipated and didn't see until after we got our photos back, like a grandmother's hug or the groomsmens' teary eyes during our vows. Hire Jenna for all your photo needs- you will NOT be disappointed!

Growing up, I used to have this irrational fear that one day, I wouldn’t be able to rely on my memory to piece together the time that has passed. In my heaviest, nostalgic moods, I’d go through entire boxes of poorly organized family photos, and just stare in the background of every picture, to see if I could find some clue that would unlock a past memory I maybe had forgotten. Terrible hair phases, kid-teeth that came in at awkward angles, the outfits our mom forced us into; all of these life phases were charted through photographs, with an unanimous objective to help us remember. This is where my affinity for photography began.

There was a moment where I moved away from home and I felt like everyone I'd left behind had suddenly decided to call themselves a photographer. I think there' a false assumption that taking pictures makes you a photographer- get everyone in frame, make sure it's in focus, press the shutter button and DONE! Not so. Photographers are artists, not hobbyists, and Danielle is a gallery unto herself. She is innovative, she is trained and everything she does behind her lens is imbued with emotion. She is an old friend, a secret admirer and a documentarian all in one. Looking back on the work she did for our wedding in Big Sur- easily done, since it's all over our walls- I can place my exact thought or the last word I'd shared with someone beside me- the music, the vibe, the LOVE. It's all there, whenever I need it, caught with her magic eye. Taking photos with Danielle is as close as we can get to stepping right back inside the best day of our lives and I'm forever thankful to Danielle for making these memories so magical. Look at her work- the proof is in the art and the choice should be an easy one. It's your day, and with Danielle on your side, you can be sure it won't resemble any that has come before or since. Your wedding deserves the best and with Danielle, there really are none better.

Hello! I'm Katie. Let's create some magic ✨ I was born and bred in Louisiana, but after high school, I moved to New York City, where I graduated with a BFA in Photography & Imaging from New York University, then landed in San Francisco, CA. When I'm not shooting, I work as a designer, spend time staring at the Golden Gate Bridge, eating tacos, and finding cute places to do photo shoots. One of my favorite things about being a photographer is meeting all of you! Not only do I get to meet new people, but we get to create something beautiful together.

I had never taken any kind of professional photos (even senior pictures!) and was pretty anxious about feeling awkward and not being able to get any cute engagement photos with my fiancé. Katie made the process so easy - she made us feel comfortable and gave us a lot of specific direction if we were ever unsure of how to pose of how things would look on camera. After our covid elopement we did another small session with her and I am so in love with the photos we got both times! Katie is a true professional and has an amazing eye to capture just the right light, angle, and to make sure you look your best as well. I can't recommend her highly enough.

You can find out documentary style in my photos, and see the aesthetics sense in my photoshoot as well. Sometimes, documentary photos are hard to understand, and taste like a plain yogurt. People have to know more about the story behind the scene to understand deeply. Visual art photos are easily catch people’s attention and make them just love it at first sight. What I am doing for wedding photography is making a balance between documentary and visual art.

And now the "dating website profile": My friends would probably describe me as a big happy goof ball, sentimental to a fault, and one suffering from FOMO (fear of missing out). I am drawn to challenges, seek adventure, and live for making people laugh. I cry at every wedding, have boxes filled with memorabilia dating as far back as 7th grade, and so many photo albums that you could stack them to the heavens. I believe all these pieces of me come out in my photography.

Hi, I'm Anna! 4 years ago, I walked away from pursuing a career in the medical field and followed my passions - which lead me here! I get to photograph people in love for a living, and it's my absolute dream job. I'm a hopeless romantic at heart, and witnessing the connection between others inspires my work. I'm engaged to my best friend, Sam, and we have a cat (ok she's basically our child) named Mila! When I'm not spending my weekends third-wheeling couples with my camera, we love to hike, go on road trips, or catch the sunset with a bottle of wine & pizza at the beach.

Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old. Never in a million years would I have thought that my lifelong hobby could eventually become my career. I focused on my future, working my way through college and grad school to achieve my license to practice, but a part of me realized that I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to go on adventures and meet a lot of new people. So in 2019, I took that risk, changed my hours from full time to part time and put more focus on my photography. I booked my first gig later that year and have never looked back.

We had the pleasure of working with Randall for our special day. He captured so many special moments during our Wedding day, from getting ready, to the ceremony, post ceremony and reception photos. Randall was really easy to work with. He guided us make sure he captured the photos that represent our vibe and made us feel very comfortable. We loved his work and have since worked with him to capture other special moments of our family, including our maternity/baby shower photos and well as our very first family photos with our little one. We highly recommend Randall for his photography services and look forward to booking more sessions with him in the future.

Hi! I’m Justin (he/him) and I’m here to affirm your love, make you feel like a fucking rockstar, and dance like a total fool. Oh, and take so many gorgeous photos of y’all. Obvs. My style blends both documentary photojournalism and fine art photography: coaching folks who are shy in front of the camera, then stepping back to capture authentic moments uninterrupted. I’ve been lucky enough to have my work published by A Practical Wedding, The New York Times, GLAMOUR, People Magazine and many other fabulous outlets. I'm a stereotypical Capricorn that loves drag shows, campy horror films, every dog I meet, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

My husband, Peter, and I hired Justin to photograph our wedding at the Marriage Bureau in Manhattan on July 26, 2019. It was an intimate affair--17 people total, including us. Justin and I spoke a few weeks before the ceremony and I was immediately impressed by the questions he asked me. He not only wanted to learn more about us and our relationship, but also asked about all of the guests! On the day, he showed up on time and photographed us all while we waited for our turn. I watched how he would talk to everyone as he worked, and all of our guests commented on how much they "loved" Justin. He is warm, funny, compassionate and talented. He also knows how to calm a nervous bride. We had to wait an extra long time (they were short one marriage officiant), and knowing that we had a lunch reservation pending, I was visibly stressed. Justin had a way of acknowledging my feelings, while also helping me to accept the present situation and reassuring me over, and over that everything would turn out okay. And...it did. When we got our photos back, I had tears in my eyes...so many of the photos literally took my breath away. He perfectly captured the feelings and the energy of our special day, and these are precious memories that will last our entire lives! I highly recommend Justin to photograph your wedding! You will be so happy that you did!

Hello there! I'm Andrea, owner of Amative Creative, and every weekend we're so blessed to be able to tell the love stories of so many amazing couples. Like many others in this industry might say, we simply adore weddings. But what makes us a little different is our entire brand is centered around telling love stories specifically curated to reflect your vision and aesthetic. "Amative" means to be prone to love, so as you can see, we want nothing more than to tell your love story! But what makes us truly unique is that we understand every love story looks different. And we personalize every aspect of how we document your wedding day!

    Awarded Best of Zola
It gives me no pleasure giving Andrea a less than perfect review, because her pictures are indeed gorgeous and she is a very talented editor and artist, and I do love my photos. With that, there were some things during the process I wish were more transparent and I thought others should be informed. She does not honor her contract at all/it needs to be updated. My signed contract stated I’d receive min 3 previews within 3 days of my wedding. I waited a full week until contacting her; she stated that the contract was “old” and didn’t account for editing…again so update it. OR at the very least admit and let me know you will not be meeting the terms of the agreement and tell me when I can expect them (she didn’t). I had no reason to believe I wouldn’t get previews for over 2 weeks and it was incredibly disappointing/frustrating. Additionally, the photos she chose to include were not what I’d hoped, I had several pictures of my dj but zero of my family…like why? Additionally, 3 days before my wedding she texted me asking if it was okay for her to send someone else to do my wedding. Now, I am understanding of illness and family issues but if you really needed to sub my wedding, call me and and explain. But to put the decision on a CLIENT and ask if they are okay with you not coming as expected put me in a tough position, not to mention a stress I didn’t need before my wedding. The contract also stated I’d get the full gallery by the one month mark, and after I didn’t get the previews until almost then, I knew that timeline was laughable. I was provided no communication as to when I might expect them just that she was “unusually” busy (clearly overbooked, admitting 5 weddings a weekend, etc) Or, you can stalk her IG stories for her queue but that just shows you where you are in line, not when you can expect anything. Eventually I received my photos 16weeks after my wedding. While they were absolutely stunning, I was still a little upset about little details ignored (leaving scratches when I specifically asked to have them concealed out) or photos that were only provided in black and white, when I wanted color or the option for both. I’ll wrap up by saying yes her photos are amazing but go in aware deadlines won’t be met or communicated and you’re not guaranteed to actually have Andrea herself (I’m sure her whole team is amazing, shout out to Jo!) it’s clear anyone on her team is interchangeable. If you’re not bothered by any of that she’s amazing!

Hello lovely! Let me introduce myself—I’m Sarah. Welcome to my little creative space—I hope you love it here & make yourself at home. My goal as your photographer is to put you at ease and therefore be able to capture your moments authentically and beautifully. As a film and digital photographer ("hybrid" if you will!), I take a big step back to capture your memories with intention, love, and honesty - my promise to you, is to treat your day as if it were my own. Film is my favorite medium to capture wedding days on, as I feel it brings back a level of authenticity, imperfection, and refined elegance that is irreplaceable.

    Awarded Best of Zola
I can’t say enough great things about Sarah! She’s a great photographer, but if you are looking for the type of photog to be your ride or die on your wedding day. She’s your girl. Sarah went above and beyond to help my husband and I in what can only be described as a spiral of unfortunate events. We were set to be married in December in Ohio when 11 days from our big day our venue burnt down. Very long story short..we decided to take our family and some of our friends down to the smoky mountains to get eloped to keep our original date because that’s where we got engaged. Sarah was my guardian angel. In less then 10 days She found us a open venue that would give us a time slot for a small ceremony! She put out posts to locals to help me find a hair/makeup team and a videographer on a very limited timeline. She calmed me down when two hair/makeup teams canceled on me the day before and the day of. Not to mention she fought crazy weather (that day the south had the biggest line of tornadoes in history) and literally kept me laughing through every single let down. Her, my best friend and I rode out the craziness of the day together. Most of all through hell and high water..she was there to capture what was left of my original wedding day. So down the road I could have memories to show my kids. And she’s agreed to continue to capture the moments this year at our redo wedding in Ohio. She’s literally the best. She’s not just my photog. She’s a forever kind of friend!

HEY! I'M ASHLEY! Aka, Your Professional third wheel! I am so happy you dropped by! I am a uber bubbly, warm hearted, person who loves to order 3 drinks at Dutch Bros and say its for other people but really its just for me. When I am not spending my lifes savings at Dutch Bros, I am professionally following peeps in love and photographing their stories. I am a lover of true crime and murder podcasts! (But I mean who isnt! I just cant help it!) FUN FACT: I speak switzerdütsch, aka a German slang. My mom is originally from Switzerland and my dad from Jamaica, so you know I am always hungry for adventures (and new places to binge eat at).

I believe love is love and happily photograph couples of all backgrounds, orientations, religions and gender expressions. I aim to create authentic and emotive images for my clients and edit true to color so the work will be timeless. My personality is friendly and warm, which helps make my couples feel at ease and open up in front of the camera. I donate $100 from every wedding day package to a non profit organization (either the ACLU, End the Backlog or the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation) because I believe paying it forward in honor of love is an excellent first step into marriage.

My husband and I are so glad we booked Jenna to be our wedding photographer. We knew instantly from our first conversation with her that we would mesh well together. We aren't people who particularly like being photographed normally but she made us feel so comfortable and at ease during our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. She's so down to earth, kind, and fun. Plus she donates a portion of the proceeds from her wedding packages to charity, which is amazing.

I'm a CA based and travel wedding photographer. I've photographed almost 200 weddings, and every single one goes by so quickly. I love my job because even though the day goes by fast, I get to find and capture those small moments, sometimes just a fraction of a second long, so they can be relived over and over in photographs. I have a photojournalistic and editorial style, plus 9 years of wedding experience under my belt, so trust me that I've got it while you are able to fully enjoy your day and be present.

You should definitely book Holly for your wedding! Holly and her assistant were so chill, fun, and patient! They were efficient so we didn't feel like we were missing too much of our wedding for photos and were able to capture every moment without us even noticing! Highly recommend :)

Enea made the experience unforgettable. He was so fun, kind and thoughtful. I could not think of a better person to capture such a special moment like our engagement. It's too bad we live so far away in Canada or we would love for him to do our wedding to. Do not hesitate or work with Enea, he takes care of it all. Thanks so much.

Thanks so much for stepping into my world of photography where capturing memories and emotions through the lens of my camera is a true passion. My journey as a photographer began in my teenage years when my Uncle, an avid photographer, sparked my love for the art by showing me the magic of capturing life's moments. With over 100 weddings under my belt as a lead photographer and mentorship from some of the Bay Area's top wedding photographers, I bring a wealth of experience to each and every shoot. My goal is always to produce images that are not just beautiful but also truly authentic.

This review is overdue for the amazing Hok. Don’t think twice about hiring him! He and his team will go out of their way to make sure your pictures are everything you’ve dreamed of! We initially did our engagement photos with him at City Hall and those turned out absolutely beautifully – we used them for our website and invites. On wedding day, he and Greg came super early and left super late going above and beyond the hours we hired them for. Hok is such a pleasure to work with – you can tell he really enjoys photographing weddings and exudes such dedication, warmth and humor that it doesn’t make you feel weird at all to be photographed. I would seriously give him more stars if I could. Hire Hok and his team!
