I’m a documentary aficionado turned wedding filmmaker based out of Portland, Oregon. When I’m not filming weddings, you can find me hanging out with my dog, Werner Herzdog (seen in the photo), having happy hour with friends or scheming my next video endeavor. I have filmed everything under the sun including a Netflix Original Documentary series to a musical narrative with the singer, Storm Large. But no matter what, I approach each project with the same gusto, excitement and curiosity. I can’t wait to meet you and learn more about your story!

I have been a videographer for over 4 years now. What drives me to continue this career is having the opportunity to capture special moments in people's lives and create a visual time capsule for them to look back on over the years. I have a passion for capturing the story of the big day and creating a video that matches the couple's style. I want each couple to be excited to share the final video with their friends and family. Hi, I'm Katy! I've been a professional photographer and videographer for over 17 years and I love working with couples to create beautiful, artistic photos and films! My visual style tends to be soft with bright lighting, earthy/vibrant tones, a shallow depth of field (blurred backgrounds and foregrounds), and a mix of prompted and candid poses. My energy tends to be pretty calming, which can help people look and feel more natural in their photos and on video. For 2024 we’re trying to be more flexible and cater our packages around what you value in your wedding films and photography. Our preference is to capture more weddings where we handle both photography and videography. Typically this looks like myself (the owner) as lead photographer and Javier as lead videographer. It works really well because I also know how to make a great wedding film and Javier is a great photographer.
