Hi! I'm Nicole Murphy and I'm the lead photographer of The Murphys. I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph engagement sessions and weddings in 13 different states. Throughout the years I’ve documented intimate elopement ceremonies and weddings with over 250 guests. As an artist I crave a real connection with my couples. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar. Just a little backstory on how I got into this business. When I was a child, I loved taking pictures of everything. And I mean everything! (I get that from my mom.) Now my dad didn't share this same joy as me because back then it was all film and every snapshot I took...he knew he had to pay to develop. We love to look back on that time of my life now and see where it got me. Its a funny story to reflect on, but so rewarding to see a joy turn into a passion and that passion turn into a career!

Hi, I'm Katy! I've been a photographer and videographer for over 17 years and I love working with couples to create beautiful, artistic photos and films! My visual style tends to be soft with bright lighting, earthy/vibrant tones, a shallow depth of field (blurred backgrounds and foregrounds), and a mix of prompted and candid poses. My energy tends to be pretty calming, which can help people look and feel more natural in their photos and on video. I enjoy artistic collaboration and I love hearing your ideas and seeing your Pinterest inspiration boards!

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey.
