I absolutely enjoy what I do, I've been providing solid high quality entertainment to couples all over the state of Iowa for almost 40 years! I started my DJ career in 1984 in Davenport Iowa, at that time I was using two turntables and had to haul big heavy crates of LPs with me. Now I use 2 specifically dedicated laptop computers that hold nearly 100,000 songs, wow isn't technology great!

Music Man Productions is a team of passionate and experienced mobile entertainers with one goal in mind - to deliver Worry Free Weddings and Events! Curtis Dean, Ron Moss, Brock & Leah Rodgers, and Sean Murphy have combined to perform at over 1,000 weddings and events over the last 33 years. I got into DJing by accident. After learning that working as an Industrial Engineer in a fortune 500 company didn't bring me much fulfillment, a friend suggested I join his DJ company. His company supplied DJ services for over 200 weddings a year! After my first wedding gig I was hooked. It gave me purpose, and an outlet I never knew was possible. I quickly became the most requested DJ in the company and within my market. Now I DJ on my own, and I'm so blessed to be able to curate an atmosphere of joy where families can connect.

David Schulte’s music career began in 2014 when he began working for a popular “Top 40” radio station in his hometown of Cedar Rapids. He worked his way from an entry-level position to producing the #1 morning show in the market. Throughout this process, he acquired excellent communication skills and emcee experience. You may also hear him as the voice of Cedar Rapids Kernels during home games at Veterans Memorial Stadium! ​
