Diana and her team were a pleasure to work with! As soon as I got engaged I knew I wanted a planner/day of coordinator… it took me a bit to convince my now husband but since the very first phone call with Diana we knew we needed her to be part of our special day! She was always very responsive, from any questions I had, to recommending vendors, to even finding a backup makeup artist 3 days before my wedding (since the mua I had booked with cancelled on me)! The day of the wedding her and her team were on top of everything. Diana and her team made sure my family and I did not have to worry about a thing. She is truly the wedding fairy godmother ever bride needs.

I can say without a doubt that I would not have made it through the wedding planning process without Kristi. It was obvious from the start that she has plenty of expertise in this area and she offered her advice in a gentle, non-judgemental manner. For instance, my fiance liked the idea having the ceremony in a particular location followed by an immediate conversion into the reception area after the ceremony; Kristi calmly and kindly explained that this endeavor was harder than it looked and helped us brainstorm different options. She never once made my fiance or me feel that any of our ideas were trivial or stupid; she listened with excitement and spoke with encouragement while also knowing when and how to point out the pros and cons of pending decisions. She went above and beyond in every way possible: when it was clear that family drama was taking its toll on me, Kristi offered numerous times to be the point of contact for a certain family member so as to take stress away from me. I hope I did not take too much advantage of that as it felt like I was using her as a scapegoat. From engagement to leaving the reception, Kristi was patient and kind and was an absolute delight. Her capacity to keep all of the numerous details straight and to recall them instantly was mind-boggling and to boot, she did it all with a calm, unflappable demeanor. I don't think I will ever be able to thank her enough for all she did.

My experience working with Nicole was amazing! She is hands down the best planner/ design stylist in the wedding industry! I work in the wedding industry as a wedding photographer so I was a little particular with my wedding planning needs. Nicole has been amazing since our first virtual meet up! Not long after our first virtual meet up she drove down to see our wedding space in person and took lots of videos and photos and even measurements. Nicole is amazing at what she does and is so detailed! We discussed placement of items briefly and not long after nicole sent a mood board with photos of the space with items she thought would look best! I was so shocked and excited that she went above and beyond to give me a visual of what the space would look like. Throughout the year leading up to our wedding , Nicole was extremely responsive to all of my emails and I loved that so much about her. Communication is so important to me and Nicole stayed in communication all year long. Nicole found all of my rentals that would match the vibe of my wedding and communicated with all of my vendors for me. I honestly would not have survived the wedding planning process without her. Nicole is so detailed with her planning & designing and sent me a final design board with everything we had been discussing all year with exact pictures of our rentals and photoshopped mock ups of what my florals would look like. Nicole listened to all my wedding needs and wants and created the most beautiful design board absolutely nailing my vision! The day of my wedding I was blown away at how beautiful everything turned out! Although it looked almost identical to the design board she found ways to still surprise and add unique touches to the design. The day of I didn’t realize things weren’t completed( on my end. Some signage didn’t get made) but Nicole improvised last minute and rearranged some items so that I wasn’t even able to tell. Nicole is truly so talented and I’m so happy I found her!! She is so sweet, creative, talented, and communicative and I will forever be recommending her to everyone! 10/10 recommend nicole with Nicole Leza Design! P.s my husband says he is forever grateful to you for keeping my stress levels down! Wedding planning is stressful and you made it so enjoyable for us. We were introduced to Laura by our venue's owner and are really grateful. Overall, our experience working with Laura was great. She is very sweet and we had steady communication throughout the entire planning. She recommended some amazing vendors to us. We loved our DJ, florist, service staff, and bartenders. The wedding rehearsal went well and the wedding ceremony was smooth. There were a few things that didn't go as smoothly during our wedding reception and we recognize this in hindsight. A few miscues added unnecessary stress and slight disappointment but we were still able to enjoy our day and night. She was involved in every detail from leading meetings with our vendors, to ceremony site reviews and setup, and even to discussing details about hair and dresses. I am positive that her attention to details and her continuous open line of communication is what made things run so smoothly on our wedding day. She was always available to answer our questions and provide guidance, she helped us with DJ recommendations, design and ultimately delivered the wedding of our dreams! Jenna went above and beyond to ensure that our special day was perfect. Jenna was our favorite person throughout the entire process, and as the bride I was constantly talking about how much I relied on her and loved having her as the person to lean on. I already miss working with her and both of us cannot recommend her highly enough. On our wedding day, we did not worry about a single thing thanks to her. I contacted Rachel to help day-of our belated wedding reception we called our "Happily Ever After". I thought it was cute how the business is called "Happily Ever Adventure Co." which goes with the theme, but I ended up choosing her over others after our consultation because everything seemed to be aligned in expectations. Plus I loved how personable and authentic she is! Even though I told her I only needed help day-of so I could enjoy the event without playing "host", she still helped follow up with vendors and make sure I had everything ready to go even a month before. I dropped off the decorations at the venue the day before so she had everything to set up. I'll be honest and say I didn't have a clear vision of what I wanted the decorations to end up looking like, but whatever expectations I had she blew me away! I almost cried seeing the sweetheart table come together so perfectly. Throughout the night she and Mallory were on top of helping the vendors get set up and striked, took care of any issues that came up flawlessly, kept me and the groom on our timeline (in a nice and somewhat flexible way that ensured everything got done but we still enjoyed our time), and always made sure I had a drink in my hand (whether our signature cocktail or water). They definitely helped my vague vision of what I wanted the night to be become something better than I could ever have hoped for. They even were able to clean everything up and packed away without me having to worry about anything. They were a huge help, and more than that, they were so fun to work with that I'm willing to hang out and grab drinks with them at some point! Everything went so smoothly on our big day, and 90% of that is because of Rachel and Mallory. I can't thank them enough!

On the day-of, they made sure everything ran smoothly and on schedule (: We did run behind schedule later in the evening (as expected with any wedding, mostly due to some family drama), but they managed to get us caught up because they were very efficient at getting all of the vendors on the same page! We got so many compliments from our wedding party and guests saying the flow events appeared very smooth, and there were very few, minor hiccups, which is a huge accomplishment for a wedding in my eyes! I can honestly say I don't think our wedding day could have gone any better, and it would not have been possible without our coordinators working so hard to make sure everyone knew where to go and what to do. I also greatly appreciated their attention to detail, they set up my decorations exactly how I requested and even provided a checklist of items for me to hand to them at the rehearsal. This was such a lifesaver, we would not have had anything to cut our cake with had they not lended us their knife and server! Cannot recommend Mindy & Co Events enough!

We found Cassandra on Zola and set up a meeting for partial planning services. It was a one and done conversation--we knew immediately that she was the right planner for us! Her clear communication, organization, and professionalism made her the obvious choice. We felt confident in relying on her expertise to bring our Fall-themed Tahoe wedding to life, and she did not disappoint. Cassandra is a true professional and expert at her craft -- For partial planning services, she provided a detailed month-by-month checklist complete with notes and recommendations to guide us in meeting our wedding deadlines. About six weeks before the wedding, she took over all aspects of the planning process. She is an experienced planner that has built out her own inventory of rentals (which was a big help so I didn't have to track those things down), and has a great knowledge base of reliable venues and vendors in the area to work with. A few of our vendors (my selections, not hers) were a challenge to wrangle, and I was relieved to be able to loop Cassandra into those conversations to get things back on track. She also brings a ton of creativity and first hand experience to the design process that I really valued. She built us a beautiful design board and iterated on it with us until we 100% loved it. She also did a great job of day of coordination and made sure we could be fully immersed in the day instead of sweating details. I'm still speechless when I think about our Wedding. It was one of the best days of our lives, and will be crystalized in my mind as a perfect day forever. We are immensely grateful to Cassandra for her outstanding work and thankful for the friendship we developed along the way. Without hesitation, we highly recommend Art in Motion!

We contacted Petite Bee weeks before our wedding because we realized that as we got closer and closer to our wedding day, it became so much more stressful trying to handle everything ourselves. We quickly realized that we wouldn't enjoy our big day if we didn't find help. With super short notice, Petite Bee stepped in with all of our existing plans and vendors and managed everything for us. It took so much stress and pressure off of us. Petite Bee is extremely professional, communication was amazing, and overall they did an immaculate job coordinating our wedding! Meredith was a pleasure to work with. Upon hiring her as our wedding day of coordinator, she presented us with a comprehensive checklist to make sure that we were prepared for our wedding. While we worked the remaining things that we missed from the list, Meredith diligently worked on coordinating with the other vendors and putting together a timeline for our wedding. When we first saw Meredith at the wedding, she was in her element. She had the staff working to make sure the drinks were stocked, guests knew where to sign in, the dJ and the Photo Booth knew where to setup, the caterers knew where to be and more. She could not have been more professional. Upon the completion of our photos, we realized that we were going to have to move the timeline up. Meredith told us that would be no problem and immediately began making sure all necessary parties knew the update and got where they needed to go. As the night came to an end, it was such a weight off of our shoulders knowing that we didn't have anything to worry about. I would recommend Meredith and Ekklesia Events with any family member or friend looking for a wonderful wedding coordinator. Meshawn and the team at Perfection Unlimited were our Coordination team for our October 2023 wedding. We could not have asked for a better team to coordinate our unique wedding ceremony that was a surprise to our guests. After connecting with PU via Thumbtack back in mid-2023, we spoke with Matthew who immediately understood the importance of our vision. Our wedding was held at the New Parkway Theater in Oakland, Ca. It started off as a friends and family screening of a short film (the Bride was the director, the Groom was a crew member). Then, during the post-film Q&A, we revealed to our guests that we were getting married right then and there in the theater. Not only did PU coordinate a film screening complete with red carpet, step & repeat photos, food, drink, DJ and more, but they helped transition into a full wedding ceremony. Meshawn ran point on everything: rehearsal, procession, recession, cake, etc. Stellar team members, Angel and Rakisha, executed everything flawlessly. Angel acted as the special events coordinator, making sure our tech was on point (sound, picture, graphics, everything!) and she even made a reel for us to post on our socials. PU was up for the challenge of our 2-in-1 surprise wedding/film screening, and they rose to that challenge with much aplomb. For what we asked for, they could've up-charged us greatly. PU made us feel heard and seen throughout the process. We wanted our wedding to be a collaboration between BIPOC businesses and creators celebrating what we can achieve when we work together. Thanks to PU for what they promised, perfection.
