I hired Lucy to take my wedding photos in 2016. She was an absolute dream to work with. She is a true professional and has such an easygoing, kind nature about her and really helped me feel at absolute ease. I knew that she would deliver beautiful photos but she went above and beyond what I expected - classic, timeless photos that captured every single perfect moment of our day. She is such a natural talent and a wonderful soul and I can not recommend her enough.

Austin, TX
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,791

Hey, thanks SO much for being here! I am honored you are checking out my page. I became a full time wedding photographer after realizing my connection to capturing love stories. I value connection, transparency, and having a fun time with my couples!

My experience with Tia was absolutely phenomenal and I will be hiring her again for all of my photography needs! She is extremely personable which truly helped with my nerves as we carried out the session. My session was only supposed to be an hour long, but she said the sunset was “too perfect” to end the session so soon. So, she stayed 20 minutes past our agreed time to take golden hour photos. She didn’t have to, but she chose to. Tia is both very kind and generous!

Firefly Photography by Brandy Gray

5.0

Waco, TX
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $1,800
  • Serves Austin, TX

I believe in the amazing blessing of God giving us people in our lives to stand beside us long after the aisle. When the big day comes to a storybook end, you will leave your beautifully decorated ceremony and reception with your forever partner...and your pictures.  All of that planning and preparation is preserved in your images, so you'll want them to be high quality, elegant and authentic so that you can enjoy reminiscing over them for anniversaries to come.

Awarded Best of Zola
Brandy was absolutely excellent!! She was so easy to work with, on time to everything, quick to communicate, and did amazing work. I cannot be more grateful for all of the pictures she captured and the amazing quality of those pictures. I would hire her again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

We are so lucky to have found Matt and have him photograph our wedding. The journalistic style is what drew us to him and the photos came out better than we ever could have imagined. They truly capture the day and tell the *whole* story of the day, from beginning to end. I've had several people remark that even the "boring" group family photos look great, a true testament to the quality of his work. Matt is laid back and easy to work with and we also used him for our engagement and bridal photoshoots.

Morgan Elise Photography

5.0

Austin, TX
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,850

My name is Morgan Elise, and I have had a camera in my hand since I was around nine years old. I specialize as a storyteller & documentarian photographer. Nothing brings me more joy than capturing moments you don’t necessarily see… but I do. I am constantly looking for those quiet moments, genuine smiles, laughs, hugs, kisses, etc. I want to tell YOUR story as authentically as I can. My work has heavily been influenced by my intuition and empathic gifts, history, vogue, literature- mostly Jane Austen, and poetry. Before every session, I create a story of poses for each client, carefully curated for each person’s personal story.

Awarded Best of Zola
Morgan is such a joy to work with! She takes the most beautiful photos and took the time to make sure we were comfortable with various poses. She is kind, attentive, and supportive and will make you look fabulous! Her photos are gorgeous and was so quick to get them back to us which was great! We can't recommend Morgan enough when it comes to capturing your special day!

Tess Leslie Photography

5.0

Austin, TX
  • Photojournalistic style

Hiya! I'm Tess, an Austin-based photographer with 10+ years of experience telling the stories of my community through photography. I love weddings of all sizes, from adventurous elopements to grand celebrations. My photojournalism background influences my documentarian style, which captures the natural joy and energy of weddings without forced poses. I help my couples feel confident and beautiful in front of the camera just as they are.

Awarded Best of Zola
This review is so long overdue, and I hope it brings home just how much I value Tess' work, and how talented of a documentarian I think she is. Since college, I've vowed to never book a friend for photos unless I really loved their work, because I often found myself disappointment when I should have invested in a professional instead of doing a friend a favor. Though Tess is a dear friend from school, she is absolutely no exception. I would have never been so excited to hire her if her photography work wasn't exactly what my husband and I wanted for our wedding day. Our ceremony was small and intimate, but Tess' work made it feel no less important because the guest size or venue. I'm a fat woman of color, and I'm often self-conscious of how other people, even friends, photograph me and the effort they lack in taking even casual pictures of myself or of me with my husband. However, Tess captured exactly how I felt that day. Not because of any editing, but because she captured our beauty and love for each other exactly as we are. Though Tess did put in so much time and effort into knowing me and my husband as a couple, it doesn't matter how intimately you know your subject — without talent, without having an eye for precious moments and framing and being able to anticipate a shoot's big moments, there's no way you can do what someone like Tess does. We planned our ceremony and reception ourselves — no planner, no coordinator — and Tess' experience helped immensely in planning exactly what we needed and wanted for photos. Despite being a friend, she treated us like any other pair of clients, with extreme professionalism and care, and even went above her scope of work for shooting during the reception and returning our gallery. I'm so happy to see her thrive in her calling, and am honored to have experienced her talents. Tess is an absolute pleasure to work with, and I know we'll be booking her to document important life milestones in the future.

Garrett Saler Photography

5.0

Austin, TX
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $5,000

As your wedding photographer, a significant part of my role is to consider the fine art aspects of the galleries I create. Things like choosing the best light to fall over your wedding gown, balancing compositions, blending color, and layering textures to create dynamic and beautiful images. But it's much bigger than that. Photographs tell our stories, reveal emotion in ways that words can't, and offer the gift of visual legacy. An artfully told story transcends time. Beautiful photographs require exceptional artists. And you deserve exceptional art.

Awarded Best of Zola
Garrett is wonderful to work with and has provided quality service to our couples. His photography style is unique, yet timeless. His is responsive, kind, and respects our venue whenever he is on-site. He truly captures weddings in such a gorgeous way!
