We first met as fourteen year olds tearing up the ultimate frisbee field at Camp Ramah. Little did we know what the Ramah Shidduch Gods had in store: six years later, we would re-meet in a small coffee shop in Cambridge, MA. This time, the sparks would fly and we'd be squeezing in dates during holidays in NYC. What started as a cross-country relationship became ever geographically closer, and we are so lucky to have shared our lives across Massachusetts, Washington, Oregon, NYC, and our bicycle saddles!
On an adrenaline-filled mountain bike descent, we hopped off to get a shot with the expansive Colorado River valley. As Jesse prepared his signature move-- 'have Sarah stage the photo and then RUN in to beat the timer' -- he managed to grab the ring out of his cycle pannier, sprint to Sarah's side, and get down on one knee. And yes, her total confusion and excitement was captured in real time.
