Welcome to our day!

Our good friends, Dave & Linda Payne, invited me to their biannual party as soon as I moved to Texas. Linda and I had known each other since the summer before the 8th grade, over 50 years ago. It was years later they met Janet and Leon when Dave Thomson was playing music in Alaska, and subsequently bought property in Trinity to be close to them. Then my company moved me to Frisco, and I was close enough to be able to come. I got lost finding the house, and Leon and Dave Stelter came to pick me up from the Dollar Tree. One night, Leon texted me, told me he had been in love with me for 2 years and was sick of keeping the secret. He said it was my hug that hooked him. We planned our first date, and the rest is history.
