After an eight-year hiatus from musical theatre, Becca decided to audition for a DC community theatre production of South Pacific. As luck would have it, Jon was in the same audition group - and they even sang songs from the same musical, Oklahoma. Jon ultimately didn't get the role he wanted but decided to join the ensemble at the last minute in hopes that "the cute girl from auditions" would also be in the show. When they found out they lived in the same neighborhood, they bonded during many a carpool. By opening night, the "showmance" was born.

Jon got COVID-19 ten days before our planned wedding and we had to reschedule the big celebration, but we got married anyway! We are looking forward to celebrating with you in June.
