Originally built in 1933 as a dairy barn, The Barn at Bull Run was owned by Schwab Dairy until it was purchased by the Presbytery of Peoria as well as the surrounding land in the fall of 1967. The Morton Park District now owns the property and has completely restored and renovated the space into a beautiful wedding venue, complete with a ceremony space, reception space, bridal suite, and grooms suite. The venue can hold a max capacity of 250 people.

The Haight is a wedding and event venue located in Elgin, IL and is enveloped by a historic neighborhood, for a romantic and storied setting for your wedding. This converted warehouse was originally constructed in the 1890s. It began as the Elgin Storage & Transfer Company. Over the years numerous companies used the building until 1985 when it was bought by John Haight, who refurbished the building. The Haight features two floors and a rooftop area. Exposed ductwork is accented by brick walls and hardwood flooring. There are multiple spaces for hosting your ceremony, reception, and a number of other wedding-related gatherings. On the first floor, there is room for up to 175 guests standing. This makes the 2,000-square-foot space ideal for the cocktail reception. The second floor features 7,000-square-feet of space. 300 people seated or 250 people seated with a dance floor can fit in this event area. BrighterDaze Farm is a family owned and operated working horse farm. Originally purposed as a breeding facility for Rocky Mountain Horses, BrighterDaze Farm has been the birthplace and home to dozens of horses. Now BrighterDaze Farm serves as a boarding stable to many horses and a beautiful setting for weddings, anniversaries and more.

Engelbrecht Farm sits on 8 acres and is located in the heart of farming country. A very unique structural features of the barn is the opening to allow guests to be seated to two levels and both levels can look at the head table for a gallery type feel. The other unique feature is its size. It is the largest actual barn (not modern structure that looks like a barn) within multiple states at 4500 square feet. Adjacent to the barn is the old 4000 square foot feedlot with flower garden and iron pergola. Late in the day makes for a great spot for outdoor games. With the barn comes the recently restored, three bedroom farmhouse originally constructed in the 1890’s. One amazing aspect for the wedding package is it’s a standard three day booking. Families arrive on Friday and check out on Sunday. This gives them time to relax and take the whole experience in. Plus the time is spent making their wedding their own.
