Owner and lead photographer William Cook is a talented storyteller who takes great joy in sharing his passion and artwork with clients on their wedding day. On the day of your event, William will create a comfortable and welcoming environment that allows you to let your personality shine through. Your finished images can be made available to you in the form of high-resolution digital files, photo prints, and wedding albums.

I'm a visual enthusiast with a degree in Arts Management. My style is mostly photojournalistic, embracing natural and romantic elements. In each wedding, my aim is to craft something different and unique, capturing a set of storytelling moments that reflect the essence of the day. What truly drives me is the moment when my clients receive the picture, and tell me how they love them. Knowing that my work will be forever cherished by others adds a meaningful layer.

My passion for photography grew when my daughter, Lotus, was born in 2004 and I began documenting her childhood with an eye toward catching each irreplaceable moment. Soon, friends and then friends of friends asked me to photograph their children and families. Before long, I was documenting the lives and milestones of people all over the DMV area. I realized how happy I was connecting with people and capturing special moments, and so I launched Lotus Photography in 2012 - named for my first muse.

I started off in birth photography and maternity shoots. I got asked to be a backup photographer for 2 weddings and fell so far in love with wedding and engagement photography, I had to add packages. I had so much fun and ended up making some great friendships doing so.

Growing up with a passion for skateboarding provided me with a creative view of the world around me. I've been taking pictures professionally for about 8 years and I'm inspired by the music I listen to and those that I love being creative with. I have also photographed many different subjects, scenes, and moments! There's a picture around every corner.

I'm Erika, born and raise in Italy! and for that I love to travel to my hometown as much as I can. I moved in USA in 2012 and I love capturing your raw emotions in the most stunning settings. I'm super outdoorsy, I love my hubby and my puppies... I believe in real connection and I think we must really like each other, because I'll be in your face all day, on your wedding day!
