At Smallcakes Cave Creek, we bake 17 unique signature cupcakes fresh every morning from scratch. Our gourmet cupcakes are moist and come in a variety of flavors. Our cupcakes are available in mini, medium and large sizes and our decorators can customize them for any occasion. We offer all of our signature flavors in 7 different cake sizes. Special flavors like Black Forest, Lemon Cake, Strawberry Cake, Funfetti, Marble, Mint, Churro, Cinnamon can be requested for custom orders. In addition our decorators can customize your cake based on your event and party theme.

I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska surrounded by weddings and events. My family owns an event venue there still. I took a detour and played professional golf for a number of years before A. Cakes was born in 2021. It was only fitting that I come full circle and work back in the wedding industry where my heart truly lies. I am in love with the process of learning, practicing and executing new and fun techniques on my clients’ cakes. More than that, creating a cake for someone’s special day gives me the most warm feeling. It’s truly why I do what I do.

If you haven't already discovered, my name is Stacy Frick. (all of my friends affectionately call me "Frick") This whole cookie-thing started out of boredom. I'm well aware that I am "late to the party" and should have started baking custom cookies about 4 years ago when they were really popular, but I feel like, who doesn't love cookies, right? I was born and raised in a small town in the Philippines. I lived in California for 14 years and before moving to Arizona, I met my husband and my children (our lovely dogs). I started baking as far back as a little girl, with a simple interest in creating tasty treats for my family and I. Then I moved on to baking from scratch and began to appreciate the joy in producing and assembling each piece of the puzzle. Baking from scratch allows you to select not only the highest quality ingredients but it also creates a deeper connection between the baker and the food. As often happens, interest turned into a hobby, hobby turned into an obsession.
