What are the current COVID requirements for entry into Italy?
Answer
Effective June 21, 2021, the Italian Government has updated entry requirements for travel to Italy. Passengers from the United States who are vaccinated, or who can provide proof of either a negative COVID test or full recovery from COVID-19 can now enter Italy without quarantine. Based on the latest update from the Italian government, you can now enter Italy quarantine-free by presenting one of the following documents for entry: Certificate of vaccination – please be sure to bring your CDC-issued vaccination card or EU Green Certificate. Keep in mind you must be fully vaccinated, meaning you have had your last vaccine dose at least 14 days before your departure, or A negative Antigen, PCR, or Molecular COVID-19 test result from a test taken within 48 hours of arrival in Italy from a test provider of your choice. What are the COVID requirements for returning to the United States?
Answer
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will require all air passengers to present a negative COVID-19 test result before entering the United States. Air passengers will be required to get a viral test within the three days before their flight departs to the United States and provide written documentation of their laboratory test to the airline. Airlines must confirm the negative test result for all passengers or documentation of recovery before they board. If a passenger does not provide documentation of a negative test or recovery, or chooses not to take a test, the airline must deny boarding to the passenger.

Where can I get a COVID test for my return home?
Answer
There are several pharmacies and clinics in Grottaferratta where COVID testing can be done as well as in Rome. We are currently working with the Park Hotel Villa Grazioli and Villa Vesta on the possibility of providing onsite testing for our guests. Stay tuned as more information becomes available.

How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
Answer
Upon arriving in Rome, there are several options of how to get to the hotel. (1) Traditional taxi service - follow signs through airport to the taxi line and take a taxi to the hotel (2) Uber is available in Rome and can also be used (3) Private transfer - It is possible to set up a transfer service to take you to the hotel. What will the weather be like?
Answer
Italy will still be quite warm in September with temperatures in the high 70s and 80's and an average temperature of 79. The average low temperatures in the evening are in the mid to high 60's.
