1101 Southern Kitchen has been a dream of mine since high school. My cooking journey began with selling desserts during school holidays then advancing to selling full plates at my mom's jobs. I knew then culinary was my path. Years later, I finally followed my heart and quit my management job to completed culinary arts school. I started 1101 Southern Kitchen a few years ago offering corporate catering throughout the city. In 2019, I took leap and entered the world of wedding catering. Now I get to share my love for food and my artistic culinary creations with the world by creating amazing meals for brides, grooms, & their guest!

In my early 20's, I discovered I had an intense love for food and entertaining. I started hosting parties for my friends and family- my main focus being on the food that was served. I loved making people feel full and happy and always wanted to be the perfect hostess!

We are a luxury private chef service. We specialize in private in-home dining. From 3-5 course plated wine dinners for 8-10 guests to luxury hors d' oeuvres events for 40-80 guests. Our Team will prepare custom buffets & plated menu selections for weddings and corporate event receptions up to 300 and 400 guests.

We are a full-service Catering & Event Planning Company located just a few minutes from downtown Houston in The Heights. We can do anything from your corporate breakfast/luncheon/dinner of 15 people to feeding the 10,000 people at the Super Bowl LI Tailgate. We specialize in weddings up to 500 people. We can offer full catering and setup options.

What is a DoughCone? A DoughCone is a delicious hand baked dessert from an old recipe from Eastern Europe that has been around for over 300 years. We bake our signature Handmade Donut Cones from scratch. We dust them with cinnamon sugar and line them with Nutella or Biscoff Cookie Butter. Then as if that wasn’t enough, we fill them with our homemade Vanilla Bean ice cream. Our Ice cream is made with real milk, sugar, & vanilla bean imported from Madagascar. We churn it to order in under a minute, with no additives (like nitrogen) so you know it’s FRESH!
