Our Story
Austin, a lawyer originally from Nebraska (go big red!), moved to Denver in 2015 to begin his career as a prosecutor for the City of Denver. Tara, a flight attendant originally from Florida, moved to Denver from NYC in 2021. Both looking for an outlet for their shared love of music and performance, their mutual friends decided to pressure them both into joining the same community choir, where their first meeting was in the spring of 2025. If you asked Austin when the moment he knew he liked Tara was, he’ll tell you it was from the moment he first heard her sing, but if you asked Tara, she’ll tell you that it was the moment he was watching a Denver Nuggets game during choir rehearsal that had her interested. Their first date, a bartender asked if Austin was already Tara’s boyfriend, to which she replied “We’ll see!” Their third date, their server said with excitement, “You two have to come back when you’re married!” Marriage wasn’t even on their minds, then in February of 2026, while sailing away watching the sunset off the coast of Jamaica, Austin had not only marriage on his mind, but the chance to have a duet partner for the rest of his life, so he proposed! They both are so excited to celebrate their marriage with the people who they love and care about most on their wedding day. They also can’t wait to go back to that restaurant to tell the server that they did indeed get married. :)

Question
Where is your wedding going to be? What time is the ceremony? How do I get there? What’s the parking situation?
Answer
Once you RSVP, you’ll receive our wedding location, including directions from getting there from any of our hotels. We highly recommend using a car service like Lyft, Uber or Waymo to get to the ceremony as there is only street parking available. Our ceremony and reception will be at the same locale. Doors open at 4 pm with our ceremony beginning promptly at 4:30 pm. Late arrivals with not be seated until the ceremony has finished so, please be sure to get there on time!

What happens if I don’t RSVP in time?
Answer
If we do not receive your RSVP by the deadline, you will be marked as “not attending.” We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide an accurate guest count to our vendors in the timely manner they have given us. Thank you for understanding and we’ll see you soon!

What is the dress code?
Answer
We would absolutely love to see you dressed to impressed, so we’re requesting formal attire! Please reserve shades of white, cream, and ivory for the bride.

Can we bring our kids?
Answer
Due to the capacity of the venue, we’re limited to the amount of space for everyone’s children and request only those invited children on your invitation attend.

If I have dietary restrictions or need a kid’s meal, who should I contact?
Answer
When you RSVP, there will be a section where you can state what your dietary restrictions are, including a place to say if you need a kids meal for your party.
Question
Can I bring someone as my plus one?
Answer
If you’re given a plus one, there will be a section of your RSVP for you to let us know who you’ll be bringing. As the venue has a limited capacity, we can not accommodate for everyone to have a plus one.
