We know many of you have been waiting for updated save-the-date and travel details, and we truly appreciate your patience. We’ve spent the last few months working hard behind the scenes to make sure we found the best balance of experience, location, timing, and value for our guests. Since our last update, we’ve been reevaluating venues and locations, navigating changing travel considerations in Mexico, exploring alternative destinations, and balancing all of that with existing contractual commitments. Most importantly, we wanted to ensure we could offer a beautiful luxury experience while also giving our guests ample time to plan and budget comfortably. With that, we are so happy and confident with our decision to host our wedding weekend at the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit in Riviera in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. We’re excited to finally share final details with our loved ones and are incredibly grateful for everyone’s understanding and support as we worked to get this right. We hope each of you are able to join us in Mexico!

Circa 1992. Brent's apartment in Hampton Harbor apartments (IFKYK) in my hometown of Hampton, VA. My roommate and I (what's up Kishia!) were hanging out with our friend Brent and admiring his impressive plant collection (he was quite the horticulture enthusiast for a college student). In strolls Benji and his roommate Jimmy ‘JimBo Slice’ Williams. Benji said he ”…knew we needed to meet." Casual group hangouts and spontaneous run-ins (“what are you doing here?” - McDonald’s on Broad St. at VCU) evolved into endless days spent chillin’ at Mama Clapp's, cruising in the red Pathfinder or the Z, and celebrating Benji's 20th birthday at his ironic "21st" party (a time was had!—RIP Merritt's). After a year of dating, Benji grew more committed, Nikki got cold feet. Fast forward 34 years—life was lifeing. Three beautiful daughters, six states and plenty of miles between us… we found our way back to each other on LinkedIn. What followed was four years of long-distance dating (SAV–DCA–SAV on repeat) that felt effortless and passed in a flash. So, we’re bringing it all together officially—families, hearts, and homes.
