Our first date was at Tierra Mia coffee. I was excited but a bit nervous, especially because I couldn’t help but notice how stunning Alex was. As we exchanged travel stories over horchata coffee, my nerves quickly faded. The conversation flowed naturally, and the hours slipped away without us even realizing it. By the end of the date, I knew I wanted to see her again. It was the beginning of something truly special.
On our second date, Daniel and I went to the Getty. As we explored the exhibits, the rain began to clear, and a rainbow appeared on the horizon. While walking between the buildings on our way to the next exhibit, we shared our first kiss. It was a sweet, spontaneous moment, and Daniel, with his usual mischievous charm, remarked, 'Awe, our first kiss was at the Getty.' It was in that moment I knew our love story was just beginning.
After meeting Alex’s parents for the first time, we headed to a concert in Orange to see Kishi Bashi, a musician I had been listening to for years. After the show, we took a stroll to the circle in Orange and decided to grab drinks at Bosscat Kitchen—an establishment I’ve always called 'boss rat' with a bit of affection. Over Negronis and espresso martinis, I told Alex those three little words for the first time. She quickly said them back, and we haven’t missed saying them to each other a single day since.
On our three-month anniversary, during a trip to Nashville, we were lucky enough to enjoy the largest fireworks display in the United States. As we stood together on a rooftop patio, surrounded by the brilliant bursts of color in the sky, Daniel took my hand and asked me to marry him. With joy in my heart, I said yes. The rest of the fireworks felt like a celebration of our love and the journey ahead.

To help us with our planning, please RSVP as soon as possible. However, the deadline is January 20, 2025. If we do not receive your RSVP by this date, we have to mark you as ‘no’ as we are required to provide our vendors with a total count in a timely manner. We hope you understand.
If you plan to drink, we recommend using your preferred ride sharing app to get to and leave from our wedding! For everyone else, there are two connected parking lots and nearby street parking.
Dress code is Springtime Semi-Formal! Suits, Dresses, Pastels, and Florals are all welcome! Please note the wedding colors are seafoam and red plum.
The ceremony will be outside on grass, weather permitting! The reception will be indoors. In the event of a storm, the ceremony will be held under the venue’s balcony awning.
Why yes, there will be! We want you to have the best time, so the drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you!
Having you at our wedding is the most important support you could give us. In lieu of gifts, we would be grateful for your contribution to one of funds that will help build our dream wedding and honeymoon. A wedding card box will be at our reception as well!
We have sent out RSVPs tailored to the amount of available seats the venue allows. Please reach out to the bride or groom if you have an extenuating circumstance.
Yes, our invitations include the whole family. It is up to you if you would like to include the kids in the celebration. Our venue is in a large semi-enclosed, park behind an elementary school, which makes it ideal for kids to run and play (with your supervision, of course). We will also have indoor activities for our younger guests (and kids at heart).
Please be seated by 4pm the day of the ceremony. You are invited to enjoy the espresso hour from 3-4pm before the ceremony as well.
Please do! Reach out to the bride or the groom with your specific need. We cannot guarantee the vendors will be able to accommodate every request. You can request a vegan option for your main meal during the RSVP process and we can share with you more details about the menu, if you have questions about specific ingredients.
