It started with a quick swipe to the right and message saying "Wepa". If you still can't figure it out, we met on TINDER, I guess you can say we are a "Tinder success story" at this point. Our first date was at the movie theater in Viera Fl and we watched the movie "12 Strong", the night ended with us agreeing just to be friends. After that we meet up a few more times before Giancarlo left for military training outside of Florida. Sadly we stopped talking for the first few months he was gone, but one random day I decided to message him "How's training going?" and we never really stopped talking to each other after that.. Giancarlo likes to call this moment "look who's back from the dead". A month later Giancarlo came back from training and the rest is history ...

Location: Garden of the Gods Colorado Springs, Colorado Giancarlo ordered a custom ring box (made out of a camera lense) and decided to act as if he was taking pictures of me during our hike. He thought it be funny to annoy me by saying “move here - move there ” and when I finally shouted in annoyance he bent on one knee and asked me to marry him. The thing is.. his planned worked a little to well. I was so annoyed that when I looked at the camera lense I never noticed the ring or that he had asked me to marry him. Instead I was shouting at him because I was sure he broke my camera lense because something looked off. After 5 minutes of me bickering at him (him still on one knee) he finally shouted back, pointed at the camera lense and said “XIOMARA DO YOU WANT TO MARRY ME?”. I froze and quietly said “Ohhh, YES”.

I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. ❤️ Giancarlo and I had a small intimate wedding ceremony with a few friends and our immediate family members in Florida. We loved every second of it ~ yet we still felt as if something was missing. Thats when we agreed to plan our big day to renew our vows and make sure this time our whole family and closest friends are there. You guys are the reason behind our 2024 wedding event, we are so blessed and happy you will be joining us soon!
