We live on the west side of Maui, in the lovely little town of Lahaina. The wedding venue is in the same area, which is about a 45 minute drive from the airport, so we definitely recommend renting a car. Its probably cheapest to book with your flight, but rentalcars.com has lots of choices! For a more budget option, or if you just want to ride around looking like a local, Kimo's Rent A Car is great too.

RESORTS of KA'ANAPALI

Ka'anapali (KA-AH-NA-PAH-LEE) is the resort land of the west side. Ka'anapali Parkway is lined with over 15 wonderful resorts, a huge sandy beach and Whaler's Village nearby, which also has great dining and shopping. Kaanapali is located just 5 miles or a 10 minute drive north of where we live, and about 15-20 minutes from the wedding venue. It's easy to create an account if you don't already have one, and you'll find a plethora of Maui residents who rent their unique places to stay. Just search for places near (no more than 10 miles from) Lahaina and you're sure to find a wide range of budget and styles.
