The Courtyard New Bern is located in downtown New Bern, 7 minutes from our venue, and has a block of 20 rooms reserved for our guests at a discounted rate. The Marriott front desk is unable to book into our group block.

Shuttles from Downtown New Bern to the Wedding

New Bern Trolley will be running a shuttle from the Courtyard New Bern and Bridgepointe Hotel and Marina to the Wedding Venue. The shuttle will begin running at 4 pm and make several runs up until the ceremony begins at 5.

Shuttle from the Reception to Downtown New Bern
September 23, 2024 9:15 pm - 10:00 pm
Starting at 9:15 the New Bern Trolley will begin shuttling guests to the Marriot and Bridgepoint hotels. Guests wishing to keep the party going can take the shuttle to the Marriot and join the Bride and Groom for a drink at a nearby bar. The shuttle will run every 15 minutes with the final shuttle leaving at 10.

How should I get to and from Amelia Grove?
Answer
Amelia Grove is 10 minutes from downtown New Bern and has plenty of parking, so you may drive and park there. You may leave your car overnight but please be sure to pick it up by 10 am the following morning. Alternatively there will be shuttles running from the BridgePointe and Marriot hotels to Amelia Grove from 4-4:45 pm. These same shuttles will be available from 9:15-10:00 pm to give patrons a ride back to their hotels or to downtown New Bern.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
You can show up as early as 4, but please be at the venue no later than 4:50.

Are there any other events around the wedding I should be aware of?
Answer
Yes! We are hosting a brunch at the Wilkinson's residence Sunday from 10-12. There will be breakfast sandwiches and fruit. Feel free to stop by, say hello to the bride and groom and have breakfast on your way out of town. More details in the events section
