Pseudo Destination Wedding

One of the things we loved about the idea of having our wedding in Carlsbad is that many of our guests will be able to make the trip to Leo Carillo Ranch and back on Friday without necessitating overnight accommodations. However, we also thought it could be a fun opportunity to turn it into pseudo destination wedding weekend and have negotiated rates at several area hotels. Whichever you decide, one thing we'd like to point out is that travel times between the Orange County area can vary greatly depending on traffic. Having been stuck in terrible traffic on more than one of our many visits to the venue, we suggest allowing plenty of time up to as much as 3 hours to be on the safe side!

A great option for those traveling from SoCal destinations who do not need to return the same evening. Destinations that work are Oceanside or Solana Beach. Uber or Lyft from station to venue would be approximately 25 minutes
