Jake and Tanya began working together January 2022 when he started assisting students in her math classroom. They began talking and realized they had a lot in common. A friendship quickly was established, soon to be more. Little did they know it was the start of an amazing relationship.

We met at Wasabi in Orange at 1:00 for a sushi lunch. Lunch turned into dinner as it became 5:30 and we were still there. After that we pretty much were inseparable, and still are to this day.

We went on a family trip over the summer to Alaska in 2023. We took a helicopter ride to Punchbowl Glacier where we went dogsledding. Along the route, the sled stopped to get a look at “the view.” Jake proposed on the edge of the cliff and thanks to our driver and family we have the whole thing on video. It was the greatest day of our lives!
