Their Story

Proverbs 16:9 In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps. As this technological age would have it, Wayne and Veniana became acquainted as colleagues at the University of the South Pacific over many exchanged emails. But it would be in the midst of a bustling 2023 exam season that Wayne would first lay eyes on his bride-to-be. Captivated by her beauty and with a kindness that shone through, his heart was stirred. Would Veniana be willing to give this bachelor a chance, and would he in turn be ready for such a commitment? These thoughts lingered for weeks and fortuitously, an opportunity arose. This time, Wayne was prepared. By God’s grace and mercy, the seed sown in that first glance would grow into a friendship that now blossoms with love. That old adage, “once upon a time” is most befitting to this love story. However, with God as their author, Wayne and Veniana believe in the unfolding of an ever after unlike any fairytale. So, in the presence of the Most High God; both filled with joy and gratitude, they celebrate their union surrounded by family, friends and colleagues, as a testament to their love and commitment to the journey ahead. They would be honored to celebrate alongside you.
