Our love story began in NYC, back in 2010. One of my awesome aunts would always say I am going to hook you up with a great guy with a good head on his shoulder and who is going to love you for all you have to offer. Then one day that day came, and she said "I have a nice gentleman I want you to meet, I am going to set you up on a blind date!" John and I met at the formerly know restaurant called the Shark Bar in NYC. With only a description of him, I had no idea what to expect. John approached me with a bundle of flowers, and I said to myself this is a good first impression! We had a great dinner, amazing conversation, and we ended the night both with smiles.

On December 8, 2018 the night of John's retirement party we were all enjoying the night celebrating John. Little did I know John had a surprise up his sleeve. Late into the evening John asked the DJ to play "Good Man" by Ne-Yo. John pulled me to him as the song played and cut the music. He got down on one knee and I immediately gave him a kiss and said YES! Check the video on Facebook :)
