Our Love Story

More than friends...

We met through our Best Man and Matron of Honor. Long before there were sparks, we became friends because my first cousin was dating (and eventually married) one of Biwil's best friends. Thanks to Ashley and Clifton, we were around each other regularly for family events, group outings, and random group chat conversations. If you ask Biwil he made a move early on and I shot him down. I literally don't recall this but I assume I probably thought he was joking. Eventually, however, I had no choice but to notice the guy with the jokes. Through the years, many often questioned why we were so close and some even suspected more going on between the two of us. I'm sure at some point or other, we both probably thought about getting together but neither of us actively pursued it. We were good just being friends, hanging out and appreciating each other's company. It was not until 2020 that we explored the idea of a relationship. Global pandemics, death, and quarantine have a way of making you re-evaluate what's most important in life. The reality is that Biwil was there for me through a really tough time. He was literally my knight and shining armor and at the end of a tumultuous year, we found each other and have been riding life together ever since. We can't wait to take this next leap with all of our loved ones by our side!!
