Friday Float Parade

10:30 am - 2:00 pm

Help us kick off our wedding weekend with a family friendly float parade down the Animas! The water will be low and slow with some bony sections. Paddleboards, duckies, packrafts - all are welcome. Tube Rental We've partnered with Mild 2 Wild for a tube rental and shuttle: $27/person. Float Start Meet at 10:30 AM at Oxbow Park and Preserve, 500 Animas View Dr, Durango, CO 81301 (parking is limited - carpool!) Float Duration: about two hours End: 29th Street Park Shuttle back to Mild 2 Wild: Mild 2 Wild will pick us all up on a bus and bring us back to Mild 2 Wild, it is only about a 5-minute drive from 29th St Park back to Mild 2 Wild. Note: If you have your own floatable, you're welcome on the shuttle but can't bring your floatable.

Welcome Party BBQ and Campout

Join us at beautiful Chris Park Campground for a bbq. The campsite holds 150 people and all are welcome to camp with us! Feel free to pitch a tent and post up for the night. Even if you aren't camping, please join for dinner. Dinner and drinks provided. Casual Attire. Bring layers; the campground is at 7,900 feet, so it will get chilly. The Lion's Den is a lovely little park shelter at an overlook above town. Please arrive by 3:45pm for the 4pm ceremony.

Bike Parade

After the ceremony, join us for a celebratory bike parade from the Lion's Den to the reception venue, the Powerhouse! This route is roughly 2.5 miles and travels downhill, through town, and along the river. How else do you expect Tommy to get to his wedding reception? RENTING A BIKE? Bike rentals with Pedal the Peaks: $27/bike.
