We're getting married!

Both of us have been active members of Central Kentucky Concert Band for 10+ years, but never really talked much other than a passing "hello" here and there. In 2020, CKCB was forced to stop rehearsals due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Both of us were stoked to start rehearsals back up in late summer 2021. We both arrived early to our first rehearsal back and that's where we had our first real conversation. The conversations (and flirting) continued during rehearsal breaks when each of us would go outside "for fresh air." We later discovered that both of us were actually only going outside to talk to the other... After CKCB's December 2021 concert, TJ finally found the right moment to ask Michelle out on a date. She responded with "Yeah, could be fun" and she couldn't have been more right. That first date was the start of a lot of fun that we have shared together and will continue to share as we do life together!
