WE HAVE CHANGED HOW WE ARE SERVING! PLEASE READ! We are not “catering” any beverages other than tea/water/sodas, so feel free to bring your own beer, seltzers, wine, etc! PLEASE READ if you are wanting to bring ANY alcohol: Our venue requires us to hire bartenders, and all UNOPENED drinks/cans or large bottles (champagne, wine, etc) that are closed and reopened, are required to stay behind the bar during both the ceremony and reception. Then of course your open drink will be more than allowed at the reception! THIS NEXT SECTION HAS CHANGED: Our bartenders have their own coolers, and we’re required to have our guests bring their drinks to the bar when you walk through the building to the ceremony (due to so many possible coolers). They will be iced down, but we DO RECOMMEND that your drinks be cold before coming to the venue. If you would like to bring a cooler, please leave it in your vehicle once you arrive to the venue. If they’re not cold, they will have the ceremony time to cool down, they just won’t be as cold as they can be. Feel free to bring a pack, and DO NOT take from the bar if you did not bring anything or someone did not tell you that you could have whatever they brought. We want everyone to have a good time and it would be very disappointing for someone to have their drinks gone, when they only had 1 or 2! I really don’t think we need to be worried about this, but wanted to make sure it was said. Immediate Family: You all can bring your own cooler! They make a few exceptions for specific people. Bridesmaids and Groomsmen: We will be allowed alcohol in the rooms before ceremony, but right before the ceremony they will come and get anything from the room! We will have one cooler in the girls room and one in the boys. Once the ceremony starts, both coolers will be behind the bar and you can pull from the correct cooler! We have the exception as well for a cooler. If there are ANY questions please feel free to reach out to one of us!
We’re registered with Zola, Amazon, and Scott’s Pharmacy in Winnsboro! We have normal items in our registries, but we also have cash funds if you’re wanting to go that route! Side Note: If you’re wanting bring a gift to the Bridal Shower and want to order directly from our registry, you can send any items to your address! We will also have some sort of little cash fund there as well for any cash/cards!
Absolutely, bring them all! We do ask that kiddos under 16 to be accompanied and supervised by a parent or other adult AT ALL TIMES. This is our venues POLICY - so we would love to have your kids there, just please be watching them!
Yes! The ceremony and reception will be at the same venue, and there will be plenty of parking! It is a rocky driveway/parking lot, so be a little careful if you have thin heels when you’re first walking into the venue! If you need to leave your vehicle at the venue OVERNIGHT, please keep in mind that all vehicles need to be picked up NO LATER THAN 11:00am! They do have a ceremony the next day and we want to make sure they have the full lot ready for the next wedding!
Yes! Feel free to reach out and let one of us know so we can make sure to add them to the list! We will also need a head count for food & drinks, so let us know in advance if possible!
Feel free to wear something nice that you may wear to church or a nice dinner! There’s no specific dress code, but I have had some ask about our colors because they want to match. If you would like to do the same we are telling them to wear black, tans (any shade), browns (any shade), or any other “neutral” fall color!
Yes! We’re getting married in Terrell, Tx which is right outside of Dallas! I have listed a few hotels and vacation rentals in the area, but Forney and Mesquite are also a few areas you may choose to stay!
Please let us know if you need us to make any arrangements! We will be having chicken and beef fajitas with all of the toppings and a grazing table, and all of the food for the main course will be in separated when serving!
The ceremony will be at an indoor/outdoor chapel, so make sure to bring a jacket if you think you will need one! The reception is inside, but there is also a small outside area as well! I will send out a text a week before if it might rain, just in case umbrellas are needed for the short walk from the venue to the chapel.
We are actually encouraging everyone to bring their cellphones! We are going to have QR codes on tables for a link so we can see our big day from your POV! It’s really neat and it’s super easy to use! With that being said, please still be kind and courteous to those around you so they’re able to see, and please put them on silent. We both have elderly family and friends attending, and we want them to be able to see and hear too! We have hired a phenomenal photographer who will be able to capture moments during the ceremony, so please keep the phone use to a minimum! We still have the reception time for more photos!
