Love Story
Ellen and Nick’s love story began in a rather unorthodox way, through their mutual friends Snapchat. One evening, Nick received a silly video of Ellen via their mutual friend’s Snapchat, and he was instantly hooked. He needed to know immediately who that was in the video! Once Nick was informed of who the mystery girl was in the silly Snapchat video, it was on. For what seemed like several weeks, Ellen and Nick would communicate back and forth through said mutual friend’s Snapchat before Ellen mustered up the courage to show up at Nick’s work one Sunday Funday. They sat for hours chatting and sharing mutual interests, all while overeating Porch’s peel n’ eat shrimp. They both knew it was love at first sight…and bite. ;) Fast forward through 3+ beautiful years, filled with tons of laughs, several trips to St. Pete, 3 sweet pups, and 2 apartments…on October 21st, 2023, Nick mustered up the courage to get down on one knee and propose to Ellen at sunset in Clearwater Beach, FL. Of course she said YES!

Sutton is the daughter of Ally and Colten Steele. Sutton, like her name, is as cute as a button, and we couldn’t imagine her not being included in the festivities as another flower girl!

Are children welcome?

To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only. We thank you for your understanding.

Can I bring a date?

If your date has not been formally invited, please do not bring them before consulting with Ellen or Nick.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Cocktail attire. The ceremony and reception will be outside (pending weather). For women, think dresses that hit around the knee, tailored pants with a dressy top, or standout jumpsuits. For men, think button up dress shirts and slacks.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes! Once you pull into the venue there will be a large grassy area you can park. Venue staff should be there to help direct guests.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Unfortunately, no. Please arrange for a ride, designate a sober driver or please get an Uber. We definitely do not want anyone drinking and driving.
