Our Story
Alec and I met in 2016 when we both joined the Augustana cross country & track program. In 2019 we started dating after struggling through a few chemistry courses together. We both deeply enjoyed our roles as teammates and loved getting to support each other through our running careers and the many injuries we faced. We moved into our own cozy little apartment in December of 2021. Alec proposed bright and early on June 13, 2022 on a very humid, hilly, sweaty run at Good Earth State Park. I was very surprised as he pulled the ring out of his sweaty shorts halfway through the run.

When should I RSVP by?

We kindly ask that you RSVP by July 14. Thanks!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 4pm. We ask that everyone be seated by 3:50pm. Thank you!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
If you are staying at the Hyatt Place in Sioux Falls, there will be a shuttle that can drive you to and from the ceremony/reception. Otherwise, Sioux Falls has lyft and uber that can be used.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, there is parking available. However, cars cannot be left in the parking lot overnight.
