Like many modern love stories, ours started with a swipe—on Hinge, during the COVID pandemic. With plenty of time at home, we bonded over a nerdy hobby one of us picked up during quarantine and quickly realized we would have too much fun together. Our first date was pizza and beer, where the conversation flowed so effortlessly that we didn’t notice the restaurant closing around us. (Also, one of us definitely wore a Mario t-shirt, though that remains a point of debate.) From that night on, every moment together felt like an adventure. Weekend trips turned into a two-week journey across Japan, where we discovered our love for exploring the world—especially with each other. Somewhere between ramen shops, cherry blossoms, and way too many convenience store snacks, we knew we had found our perfect travel partner. Now, we’re ready for our biggest adventure yet—getting married! We can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
