Welcome to our Wedding! We look forward to celebrating with you. Please RSVP and let us know if we will be gifted with your presence. Much love from us to you!
It was game day. I walked into the gym like I had a hundred times before Braden's basketball game. I found a quick seat in the first section, halfway up the stands in seat #5 surrounded by no one. The girls varsity game was wrapping up and a man walks up the aisle, sits a row behind me and a couple seats over. A few minutes later I hear, "How's the horse business?" After several seconds, as I sat there thinking 1. Is he talking to me? 2. What the heck do I say? and 3. Please don't be awkward, please don't be awkward...I respond with, "I have no idea but I hope it's good?" As I turned around to answer he realized I was not who he thought I was. Now, there are some conspiracy theories as to whether he really thought I was someone else? Yet, in his defense, he did take the time to pull up their social media and we agreed that with my hat on there were some similarities. We exchange a few more words, our first names and that was it. Or so I thought..... The next morning, I received an Instagram notification. It was a follow request from a BrandonBrackney3. Insert a raised eyebrow and slight smirk, I knew this was no random "Brandon". Immediately, I text my sister, Heather, and our internet investigation began. Our collective effort failed to uncover any red flags. So, I accepted. And that was it....or so I thought. A couple days later I received a message that said, "Hey friend"... well...that was it. We found that conversation came easy and time together led to the wonder of wanting more. Mixed with patience, gentleness, understanding, and honesty laced with an ever unfolding trust, friends quickly became the best of friends. Love naturally grew reaching depths we'd only dreamed of and it's absolutely beautiful. He is my person and I am his. Now, we're counting down the days till I trade "ett" for "ney".
5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
This event is Texas Country Casual. The grass can be soft, so maybe rethink stilettos.
Please arrive by 4:30 pm. Ceremony begins at 5:00 pm followed by a Cocktail Hour, Dinner and Celebrations.
The ceremony and celebrations will be at: Trickle Creek Ranch 5555 Old Brock Rd. Weatherford, TX. 76087
Our ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm. Arrival time by 4:30 pm is highly encouraged to find a seat, mingle and hug the necks of those you've not seen in a while. The reception will begin at 6:30 pm shortly after the cocktail hour ends.
The dress code for our wedding is Texas Country Casual. Wear something you're comfortable in - button-up shirts, jeans, boots, long flowy dresses, or whatever brings you joy. Since our ceremony will take place outside under a big beautiful live oak, we recommend a light jacket or sweater if the weather is a little on the chilly side.
Well...It's Texas. We will pay close attention to the forecast and update as necessary.
How about a little mix of both! Our ceremony will be outdoors under the big live Oak Tree along with a cocktail hour that will immediately follow. Dinner will be held indoors. The dance floor will incorporate both. Partially indoor and will flow outside to include the beauty of the venue under the stars and night light.
After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures for around an hour. Guests can enjoy light refreshments during the cocktail hour. Dinner will be served around 6:30 pm with dancing and celebrations to follow.
We'll be serving light refreshments during the cocktail hour, followed by a delicious dinner, and of course dessert.
We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we'd like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #tradingettforney so we can see them, too!
If the RSVP does not include a guest spot and you'd like to bring one, please reach out to Terica or Brandon so that we can be sure to include in the final count.
