Our Story
We met through a Christian dating app called Upward in Spring of 2023. Eli was in the first year of his physical therapy program at the University of Pittsburgh, and I was in my third year of medical school in Allentown, PA. It only took a few Facetime dates before we met in person in Allentown and started dating officially (shoutout to Eli for driving 5 hours for a first date). We connected through our mutual desire for a God-centered relationship and our shared goal of helping each other grow in faith. Because of this, we knew very quickly that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. During several visits to State College, PA, to visit Eli's parents and grandparents we would stop at the Arboretum at Penn State. The Arboretum is a special place to Eli's family, as the fountain is named after his maternal grandmother. Eli proposed on a sunny fall morning down by the Monongahela River in Pittsburgh. We are so excited to start our new journey as husband and wife, and we are looking forward to sharing our special day with you all in May of 2024. With love, Taylor & Elias

Where do I park at the Arboretum at Penn State?
Answer
Visitors can park in the Lewis Katz Building lot, just across Bigler Road from the Arboretum. There is no cost to park for wedding guests. For more info, please visit https://arboretum.psu.edu/visit/visitor-information/.
