Is it really a surprise that our first date was at Disneyland? If you know us, you know that Disneyland is one of our absolute favorite places and that's because it is where we fell in love. 💕 Our first date was truly magical. We spent the entire day showing each other our favorite things about the park. We both swear we got on every ride and barely waited in any lines all day, as if fate was on our side. Walking down Main Street together, we knew that this was the start of something special. It really was the Best. Day. Ever.
Yet another Magical Day in our Adventure together. We went back to the spot where it all began, Disneyland. Amanda had no idea, where as Charles was a nervous wreck. Charles had his family join them for what Amanda thought was just a "family outing" at Disneyland. All day the Rogers had to play it cool as if there was no hidden agenda. Went on rides and ate as usual, however at 6pm everything would change. The last ride was the King Arthur's Carousel. We got off the ride and walked down a nice path behind the castle to our favorite spot, Rapunzel's Tower, then boom! Amanda's best friend Bec and Charles' best friend Ryan were waiting there with flowers in hand. It was at that moment that Amanda realized the true nature of the trip. Charles walked her up the steps of the tower, a crowd circled around and cheered, a question was asked and a confirmation was uttered through the happiest tears of a Princess becoming a Queen. We walked around the park happy as can be taking pictures for all to see. Finished off The Yes Day with a delicious meal at a favorite restaurant, Story Tellers Cafe. BEST. DAY. EVER.
We enjoyed a memorable and romantic backyard wedding in a family home in Oxnard, California. While it was not the big wedding we had originally planned, we could not have asked for anything better in 2020. We are overjoyed to be living out our fairy tale as husband and wife. All our love, Mr. and Mrs. Rogers
