Dustin and I were freshman and junior in high school together. We were 14 and 16 the first time we met. We regularly skipped gym to go off campus to hang out with our third wheel; Mary Jane! Dustin and I continued to be friends for almost 16 years before we started dating on 4/20/2019. Dustin helped me go to purchase kayaks and we have been inseparable since. We went on a camping trip for 4/20/2019 and that was a wrap. I can count on one hand the amount of nights we have slept apart since. Dustin is not only the person I have been friends with the longest in my life, he is my BEST FRIEND. A lot of people say they are marrying their best friend; I actually am.

I (Sulea) was about to go pick out some kayaks for Paden and I and needed some help. I reached out to Dustin because I knew he enjoyed kayaking also and I had not spent much time with him since he had been home. We went to Wal-Mart and picked out the cheapest kayaks we could find; I remember Dusting saying, "as long as it floats that's all that matters." That couldn't be more true! We spent around a month just hanging out and snarfin' darbs watching Disjointed on Netflix. We planned a camping trip for 4/20/2019 and have been inseparable since. When I told my Dad and Stepmom, Patti, that we were dating their response was, "it's about damn time!"

We had been looking at rings and thinking about a date for a while but nothing was official. We do like our date for our dating anniversary and wanted to keep it. We went on vacation to Michigan like we enjoy to do for our anniversary. We stayed in a nice little cabin and enjoyed the area. There were many times I thought he may ask because he was acting a bit nervous. I was a bit bummed when we were on our way home and he hadn't asked yet. We stopped in Chicago on our way home for pizza and as we were heading out of the city I was getting in his bag to get some "materials" and found the ring. When I seen it I thought he was having second thoughts and was SO bummed. When we got home I got the car unpacked and got into the shower and into bed. Dustin came up in the dark to the bedside and tried to ask. I told him, "no." Not to ask. That we were in so many beautiful places over the weekend why on Earth would he wait until we are back home. When I'm in bed and tired and cant take photos with him. He said he was going to ask but no where "felt right." He said this is our home where our children live and our life happens. I don't think I have ever felt like such a jerk because it all made sense. Who cares what I look like! This is our life and big events belong where we call home <3

We pretty much have everything we need. We will have a place for cards/cash - they are appreciated but NOT required. Your presence in starting this new chapter is the most important gift to us. <3 We do humbly ask our loved ones to bring photos of our deceased loved ones. Those who wouldn't miss this day if Heaven wasn't so far away. Please ensure they are ones you are willing to part with. We would like to hang them in our family home. Please bring seating if you have it just in case - if you're traveling long distance there will be seating provided but we are not renting chairs so it is limited. Wear comfortable shoes; we will be in the grass!!!

Bride and Groom are not big drinkers - of course we would like everyone to have fun, get lit, and have a wonderful time!!! Please drink responsibly - DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE!!! There will be plenty of safe options; just ask!!! And please just avoid getting sloppy drunk - it's not fun for anyone and let's be honest - you don't feel great the next day anyways ;)

We will be enjoying a road trip to Oregon to stay 2 nights in a "bud'n'breakfast" (bud included) 30ft up a tree <3
