Dr. Sandreka Jones, known as "Dreeks" to those with familiarity, has been Stephanie's partner in crime, sister, and infinity twin from another mother for over a decade now. Dreeks and Stephanie started their relationship with late nights studying for medical boards which led to late night parties through the streets of New York City. Like the blind leading the blind, their outings are always simply unpredictable. Dreeks is also to thank for convincing Stephanie that Kevin was "the one"– and quickly becoming their honorary “third wheel” for the many dates that followed. Indicated by the infinity tattoo they share, Dreeks and Stephanie have a bond that is infinitely growing and can never be broken. Stephanie couldn't be happier to have her standing by her side on her wedding day.

Mica met Stephanie just as she was starting residency and quickly sought to walk her through the struggle of medicine in the most graceful way possible. Stephanie was one of Mica's bridesmaids and quickly took on the "don't mess with my big sister" pitbull protective role. Their relationship grew instantly and quickly they realized they were the same person. What sealed the deal in their bond was their one true love...SOCA KINGDOM. Meet Dr. California Chris. From the mean street of Syosset, Chris spent his summer youth at Crestwood Camp where he met his buddy Kevin. The unspoken game at camp was to endure the counselor's wrath. Survivalism there helped forge one of the strongest bonds between the two. A friendship that has truly stood the test of time and distance, Kevin and Chris do their best to stay in touch all these years later. Kevin will say it doesn't matter how long it's been, when they're together it's like nothing has changed. Kevin is humbled to call Chris one of his closest friends. "I think this bags upside down"

Have you ever had an angel wind up at your doorstep? Well, Stephanie has. Meet Pia! Pia and Stephanie met in their junior year at Boston University. Knocking on Stephanie's apartment door and simply saying "Hi, I am your new housemate and your old roommate moved out " was the beginning of a forever-lasting friendship. Separated over 10 years, they stayed in touch until August 2021. That summer, not only did they rekindle in Pia's homeland of Costa Rica, but Pia helped Kevin set up the entire trip and a marriage proposal from overseas. When it comes to finding Pia, I hope you can read a map because she living her best life traveling the world. Simply an angel in human form, the purest soul you will ever meet the definition of "Pura Vida", meet Pia!

All those years ago, Tom saw something special in the white guy who held up a school wide meeting for the first day of school in the Dominican Republic. Tom, a DR native, generously took Kevin under his wing in a new country and made sure to teach Kev the ways of the Platanó. Kevin and Tom went on to teach together for two years together at St. Michaels School, in Piantini. A friendship that only became stronger as the years passed. Tom is a man with his bags always packed, his phone always charged, and ready for the next move. He’s a great teacher, a better coach and an all around good guy. "Quien e tu papa?"

Dr. Katrina Tulla

From overnight shifts straight to the bar and parties, Stephanie and Tulla were Surgical residents of the decade at Wyckoff Hospital. There was no challenge these two could not handle especially with the support of each other. Tulla is definitely Stephanie's sleepiest friend as she is often caught taking a nap at concerts, clubs, restaurants, you name it, but is always ready to roll when woken up. She is the definition of a die-hard friend.

From nurse to contractor to father of the year, Mike seems to be able to do it all. Stephanie introduced Kevin to Mike as her "brother from another mother" giving sound and brutally honest advice. Sometimes a little too honest. Mike has a big heart and an even bigger personality. He's a fantastic builder with a great eye and an even better father. Mike's the type of guy who will let you get into trouble and then bail you out. Steph and Kevin really look up to the D'Angelo family and are honored to have them be a part of their special day.

Meet Dr. Cecilia Alcala. Cecilia, also known as Cece, is the definition of a Patron Saint. Having a PhD in Environmental Health Science all while coaching daily classes in cycling, Cece is unstoppable. From the moment Cece and Stephanie became friends, these Haitian sisters formed a stronger connection then blood. Stephanie sees Cece as a woman of empowerment, full of joy and confidence, spreading daily positive affirmations and uplifting energy to all those she approaches. There is no such thing as a bad day with Cece because she knows just the words, you'll need to hear to brighten your day. A walking living saint you may call her. Meet Cece!

Bonds between men are often hard to forge later in life, and despite all odds, Patrick and Kevin managed to eke out a friendship that's endured. Throughout the years, their bond grew stronger, and they became inseparable. They celebrated each other's successes and lent a helping hand during challenging times. Some would say it was the BRT weekend that really drove home something special others might say their both made for each other.

Stephanie and Niara met during the torturest times of medical school and instantly formed a sisterly bond. Niara embodied support and empowerment also making sure her ladies were one step ahead in the very prejudiced field of medicine. Along with guidance in school, Niara guided Stephanie and their group of friends through sensible decisions. "Mama Niara" she should be called, as she will be the first to make sure you packed your essentials, you used the restroom before you left and you have everything a girl needs to look and feel her best, but don't ask her to be on time! With her boastful laugh and her huge and warm heart, and let's not forget all 6 feet of her; Niara will always put a smile on your face and a warm feeling in your soul. She is simply the definition of woman empowerment, motivation, strength, loyalty, and an overall good time.

The tallest Irishmen in all of Brooklyn will be attending this year's festivities. Tim and Kevin have been dishing it out together for many moons in south Brooklyn as full-time New York City teachers. While they give love and support to today's struggling youth, Tim and Kevin found comfort in one another. Their friendship, blossoming with their careers, has only grown stronger and more valuable over time. Kevin is honored to call Tim a friend and even more so, a groomsman.

When Reggie enters a room he fills it with love and compassion, light-hearted laughter, and warmth. Sweet Little Mia Smith is Stephanie's Niece. The quieter of the twins, but can make a statement the moment she walks into a room. With a sense of fashion just like her mother, don't be surprised if she steals the show from the bride. Never leaving home without her hair done, bows, dress, and heels to match, and don't you dare forget her purse! This fashionista shines bright like a diamond. The day Mia found out she was going to be a flower girl she got right to work designing her aunties wedding dress using her dolls and lace (she knows her auntie well)! Watch out Balenciaga and Chanel, Mia is in Europe and ready to take over the fashion game!
