What the FAQ?

You have questions, we have answers!
Question

If this is a reception, then where are you getting married?

Answer

Why wait to celebrate? We’re kicking things off with the reception, and the 'I dos' come later. Because love is better with a little twist! On the second-floor entrance, you’ll spot a fun little challenge—write down your best guess for where our vows will take place! Hint #1: We were engaged in Europe, fell in love with it, and want to go back. Hint #2: Red, white, or 'do', this place is where many hearts have come together....it feels like the true end-zone of love. ...there are a few other hints sprinkled throughout this site!

Question

Where is the reception being held?

Answer

The Old Mattress Factory on 13th & Cass Street. Enter through the main doors on the South side of the building, where friendly staff will be ready to welcome you. They will direct you to the event on the second floor. Feel free to take either the stairs or the elevator—whichever suits you best!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

5:59 PM

Question

Will there be food and drinks served?

Answer

This is a traditional reception. Of course, we'll have dinner and an open bar!

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Free on-site parking is available in the connected lot on the East side, facing the CHI Center.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Casual cocktail attire preferred. Women: Think in between a floor-length gown and a casual sundress. Blouse, skirt, pants, and colors/accessories are all welcomed! Men: Dress pants, button-down shirt, and blazers (if inclined) look great!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We kindly request no tiny humans—because love is patient, but we aren’t.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

The greatest gift is sharing this moment with you. No gifts, please. If you insist on giving, we’ll happily accept liquid contributions (aka free drinks)—just not at the reception, since we’ve got an open bar! If you're more into the fluffy and four-legged, donations to the Nebraska Humane Society in our name would also do the trick! Either way, your generosity will be paws-itively appreciated!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Food allergies? Preferences? We’ll make sure your plate is as happy as you are! Text Sara or Steve one-off.
