How We Met

Uj chronicles

Our love story began in the vibrant corridors of the University of Johannesburg, at a friend's party that was destined to change our lives forever. Amidst the laughter and music, we found ourselves engrossed in a playful game of cards. As the night grew darker, our conversation lit up with discussions about music, life, and food, creating a bond that was as unexpected as it was profound. Siphe, with her strong spirit and independent heart, was adamant about not wanting a relationship. When Thabiso mustered the courage to ask her out, she suggested friendship instead. But Thabiso, with his unwavering resolve, refused to settle for just being friends. He declared, "I would rather lose you than be just friends." It was a moment that echoed with the intensity of our feelings, a moment that defined the depth of our connection. As if guided by an unseen force, we found ourselves gravitating towards each other. We became each other's solid rock, a sanctuary in the chaos of life. Our bond grew stronger with each passing day, and before we knew it, we were inseparable. Years later, our love story has been enriched with the joyous laughter of our beautiful daughter and son. We've journeyed from the lively streets of Johannesburg to the serene landscapes of Ireland, creating a tapestry of memories along the way. Now, we stand on the brink of new adventures, our hearts filled with anticipation and excitement to travel the world together. Our story is a testament to love's enduring power, a tale of two souls intertwined by destiny. It's a romance that continues to unfold, painting our lives with hues of love and happiness. And as we look forward to our future journeys, we know that no matter where we go, our love will always be our guiding light.
