Katie and Shy met in 2009 while attending try outs for HHS cheerleading team. Katie invited Shy to a sleepover since Shy was new to the school and trying out as an 8th grader for the upcoming high school season. Through the last 15 years Katie has been by Shys side through everything and even with a friendship that had 700 miles in between it, they managed to remain the best of friends. They have had quite the story over the years and the way the stars align is truly a miracle. Shy now lives only 30 minutes from her best friend which has always been a longtime dream. Shy is the godmother of Katies first born, as Katie is the godmother of Emryn who is Shy and Jakes first born. When Katie first met Jake, she knew he would be the man to sweep Shy off her feet. There was some minor PTSD from the years Katie had been through with Shy and they had scares where they thought Jake was too good to be true(LOL). Here we are now and Jake was never to good to be true, he was Shys knight and shining armor and Katie is so happy that Shy found her soulmate. Shy would not have it any other way than to have Katie standing by her side on this day.

Samantha Moody

Samantha is Shys soon to be sister in law whom she has actually known for almost 17 years, but it wasn't until the end of 2022 when Shy and Sam actually reconnected through Shy's relationship with Jake. Although Sam tried her best to not like Shy and be the protective older sister of Jake, they instantly became friends. Jake always made it known to Shy that Sam never liked anyone and if she liked her it would be a miracle. Shy and Sam are now best friends and cannot wait to be actual sisters. Shy has always wanted a sister and would not want it any other way than Samantha standing with her.

Tia Bell

Shy met Tia when they were waitressing at the same restaurant together in 2016. Tia was very quiet at first but began opening up to Shy and they quickly became very close. Shy was switching jobs and she thought Tia would be a great fit at her new place. They quickly became inseparable for the few years that followed. Tia took a big move to Los Angeles for 2 years and even with 3,000 miles in between them Tia never failed to miss a phone call or a birthday party Shy had. She even flew overnight to Orlando for Shys 26th birthday and with no sleep continued to have a 15 hour day at universal and we all know how serious Shy takes her Disney/ Universal trips! Tia has been an amazing friend over the years and after Jake popped his question, Shy immediately knew she wanted her by her side as she says I do.

Alexis Harley

Alexis and Shy met in 2014 while briefly working together at a clothing store. Throughout the last 10 years it has been a blossoming friendship. The two definitely share their biggest bond over their obsession with Disney. Alexis has been a great friend and extremely supportive. She has been there through growing up into the proud adults they have become today. Alexis is the mermaid Shy always has needed in her life and she loves her so much. It is a privilege to have Alexis standing by Shy while she says I do.

Ashley Graves

Cousin of the bride. Ashley and Shy met through Ashley’s husband David(Shys cousin). Sonia, shys mom, always said once Shy and Ashley met they would clique instantly however both being newer moms the time had never come. When it eventually did Shy and Ashley became almost INSTANT besties over their mutual love for Taylor Swift and many other things. Shy would not want it any other way than to have Ashley beside her on her big day.

Ali Campbell

Cousin of the bride. Ali and Shy have always been close through Shys years even though she moved away. Over many years of seeing each other for birthday dinners/concerts or wherever the wind had blew Shy & Ali have always remained close. Leading into motherhood Shy & Ali became extremely close and now only living only 10 minutes apart definitely played a great role. Shy is so excited to have Ali beside her on this day and cannot wait for their future as mom cousin besties.
