Although we had been living mere blocks from each other for 6+ years prior, our paths didn't cross until September 2019 on a dating app. Days after her 29th birthday, Shea boldly asked Tony out. Much to her delight, he suggested her go-to bar, directly across the street from her condo! We stayed up for hours after the bar closed - shocked at our instant compatibility - out on the front steps of Shea's condo building, and even discussed marriage that first night! 👰🤵
As definite COVID-bride & -groom, we've experienced a great deal of uncertainty and precariousness while planning our wedding amid the pandemic (and lots of competition for availability, alongside couples rescheduling their postponed 2020 weddings!). The health and safety of our friends and family come first, so we're guided by the science from the CDC & WHO, as well as our own ultra-COVID-conscious ethical standards. To that end, we're planning a VERY small in-person gathering of only fully-inoculated attendees, but will be live-streaming our ceremony to extend the celebration to all of our friends and family! We hope you'll join in the merriment! 💒🎦💻🥳
We (including our dog, Lion!) have outgrown Shea's small condo and plan to move after the wedding! 🏡
