How We Met
Ronji and Shareika met through Kimberly Norman Mickens. Ronji and Kim came up with the idea to send Shareika two dozen roses to her job back in July of 2021. Shareika was so nervous as this had never happened before. Shareika sent Ronji a message via facebook and communication started from there. They were friends for several months before they decided to make it official. After making it official the rest turns into a true fairytale.
The Proposal
Ronji proposed to Shareika Christmas 2023. Family and friends gathered at Shaneika and Paul's house for a Christmas celebration. We enjoyed dinner and drinks until Shareika's cousin wanted to go to her house to pick up her car. When Shareika and her cousin arrived back at the Davis family home, candles were lit, rose petals were on the floor, and Ronji stood at the front of the room beside the letters " Will you Marry Me" with a ring. Shareika was so emotional as she gathered flowers from family and friends as she made her way to Ronji. He asked and she said YES without hesitation. The room was filled with applauds, laughter, and happy tears and a celebration continued after the proposal.
