Our story began in 2008 at church. Despite being ‘hi-bye’ friends in a big group for almost 10 years, everything changed in 2017. Sharon, along with two friends, needed travel buddies for a Japan trip, and, to everyone’s surprise, Andy was the 3rd, 4th or 5th choice - invited only because the others said, ‘Nah.’ From there, our story took a hilarious turn, unfolding a new chapter filled with surprises and shared adventures. During the preparations for our trip, we discovered many commonalities, deepening our bond and bringing us closer. Since then, we’ve journeyed to many places, creating numerous wonderful memories together. And now, fast forward to today, we’re taking the next big step because we’re getting married! Who would have thought that a 5th choice travel buddy could evolve into a lifelong companion, sharing the joys of marriage and the exciting journey ahead?
