Your health and our health is the highest priority, so we are making a few changes to our wedding itinerary. After a considerable amount of time weighing our options we are choosing to do a small wedding with our immediate IN-STATE FAMILIES ONLY and our reception will be held at a later date. We apologize to all our friends and family that wish to be with us in person to help celebrate this moment in our lives. We will let you know when we will be celebrating with a reception soon. Thank you for being so understanding during this difficult time! Our wedding will be available via Zoom on June 26th, 2021 at 2:50pm and the passcode for the event will be DalyWeddin. Thank you in advance to all who wish to be with us through this video. We are registered at Amazon, Target, and Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Gifts are not needed but are appreciated.
We met while working at Menards. Colin would come through my register almost every day buying a different kind of candy. I was so nervous to admit that I liked him so I wrote it down on a note and I was going to give it to him the next time I saw him. I chickened out of course. That night when our shifts were over I decided to go for it. My aunt had sent me a quote that said "It only take 20 seconds of insane courage and I promise you something good will come of it." I followed through with that and walked up to Colin's window to talk to him. We ended up talking for hours. I guess that quote was right after all!
After spending almost seven years of our lives together, Colin proposed in the most "us" way possible. At the end of January 2020 Colin and I spent a week in Keystone, Colorado skiing and enjoying some time together. We both thought this would be the perfect time to propose but we never found the perfect time. Looking back on our time, I am very glad we waited until we returned home because Colin surprised me by sending a flower bouquet to my work and taking me out to a nice restaurant on Valentine's Day! We finished up our dinner and drove around for a bit. Colin pulled into the empty Menards parking lot and pulled into the same parking spot we started dating in. We reminisced about that time in our lives and he pulled out the ring and asked me to marry him!
