We first met on the beach in Punta Cana. It was a chance encounter that led to a long term relationship between NYC and Chicago and, finally, a resettling together in Brooklyn. We both always wanted a destination wedding, where our event felt like a vacation and our best friends and family could relax and get to know one another deeply. Cabo felt like the perfect choice. The desert environment connects to our upbringing in Arizona and Texas. The beach setting brings together our story and our love for nature and the ocean. The venue - the Solaz resort - is a relaxed luxury hotel with a swimmable beach, spa, an almost football field length infinity pool, and an unbelievable garden throughout the facility. Every room is ocean facing with a hammock. The wedding and reception will take place outside right by the ocean. Do you have to stay at the resort? No, but we hope you can! Our desire is for people to connect with one another through the weekend. The pool and spa are limited to hotel guests. However, there are plenty of other accommodations in the area. If you plan to attend, we recommend you reserve lodging and flights as soon as you are able. Love, Sarai and Alec

While Ubers are great for getting around Cabo, Ubers are not allowed to pickup from the Cabo airport (note: they ARE allowed for drop offs!). We highly recommend pre-booking private transportation through the recommended service with our discount code: alecandsarai https://www.vivolx.com/ You can also coordinate transportation through your hotel or take a taxi upon landing found outside the airport!
We will have one! But we haven't made selections yet. We will send an email once the registry is available.
