TRAVEL & TRANSPORATION

The closest airport is San Diego International Airport, which is about 45 minutes away from the recommended hotels in Carlsbad, CA. Another option is John Wayne International Airport in Santa Ana (Orange County), which is about 75 minutes away from Carlsbad. Out of town guests may either rent a car at the airport or take a cab or shared ride service to their place of stay. Lyft and Uber rides should be readily available in San Diego and Orange County. Another great option is renting a car from Turo (www.turo.com). Turo is the world's largest car sharing marketplace - think Airbnb for cars:) Shuttles will be offered to guests to and from the wedding venue and the three recommended hotels on November 2nd. Please plan accordingly and book reservations in advance.

1. Omni La Costa Resort & Spa

We have a room block on Thursday, October 31st through Sunday, November 3rd, which can be reserved on a first come, first served basis. You can book with the link below or you can call 1-800-THE-OMNI (1-800-843-6664) and mention "Stites & D'Angelo Wedding Room Block." Please book prior to October 1, 2024!

2. Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach, a Hilton Resort and Spa

We have a room block on Friday, November 1st and Saturday, November 2nd, which can be reserved on a first come, first served basis. Please book with the link below prior to October 1, 2024!

3. Hilton Garden Inn Carlsbad Beach

This is a beautiful, beach-front hotel in Carlsbad. We do not have a hotel block here, but there should be plenty of availability if you book before August 2024. Click the link below to book!

Shuttle

Ceremony Shuttles

November 2, 2024 3:15 pm - 11:30 pm

Shuttles will be provided to and from Omni La Costa, Hilton Cape Ray, Hilton Garden Inn Carlsbad. If you are staying at Omni La Costa, the shuttle will be picking up at The Spa at Omni La Costa. Guests should be ready for the shuttle at all hotels no later than 3:15pm. Stay tuned for more shuttle information coming soon!
