How we met
Johnny and Sarah's love story began on Sarah's first day at Travelers Insurance on January 23rd, 2018. With six months under his belt, Johnny welcomed Sarah into the team. Fate had them seated across from each other, and from the very beginning, a fast friendship blossomed. Their workdays were marked by Johnny sliding his monitors aside to engage in many conversations with Sarah. Their connection deepened as they shared jokes, thoughts, dreams, and everything in between. Johnny couldn't help but feel a special connection with Sarah from the start. After a short seven weeks, Johnny mustered the courage to state his feelings and Sarah set up a first date soon after on March 14th, their romantic journey officially started. From that moment forward, their shared history unfolded, where they fell hard and fast, leading them to March 2023, when Johnny lead Sarah to the NYC skyline to propose, solidifying their love story in a moment they'll cherish forever.

The Pavain family will be hosting guests at their house in Connecticut for a pizza lunch to celebrate the new couple. Guest can drive to their house at 9 Berthier Place, Ridgefield, CT 06877 or take Metro North to Brewster train station from White Plains, a 10min car ride from their house.

Guest who are traveling by Amtrak train line can take a train to the Yonkers station, which is a 30min car ride to the hotel. *Important note, riders coming North you may have to transfer in Moynihan train hall at Penn Station

What is the dress code for the wedding?
Answer
Our wedding has a summer formal dress code. This means we're aiming for elegant attire suitable for a warm weather celebration. We kindly request no khakis, and we ask guests to avoid wearing white or red.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Answer
Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. While we would love to welcome everyone to join us in celebrating our union, we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Unfortunately, we cannot host any children at our wedding. We appreciate your understanding.

How to get to wedding venue
Answer
For those staying at the Sonesta Hotel - Downtown White Plains. We have a shuttle bus that will take guest from the hotel to the venue and back. For those driving there is parking available at the venue

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?
Answer
The bride and groom hired a great photographer and request an unplugged ceremony. Please refrain from taking pictures during the service.

Can I bring gifts to the wedding?
Answer
Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, please mail it to our address which will be listed on our invitations. Note; there will be a card box on the welcome table
