Their story began with a virtual introduction, orchestrated by their dear friends. It was fate's gift when Kevin sent Sandy his very first message on her birthday, back in 2018. Little did we know, that message would ignite a flame that would soon bring them together. Less than a month later, Kevin took a leap of faith and flew Sandy out to Georgia, a place unknown to her. Overwhelmed by nerves, she unintentionally let her anxiety get the best of her. In that moment, she was distant and guarded (basically, she was super mean to him!) and Kevin jokingly contemplated sending her back home (he def wanted to send her back to Jersey!). But fate had other plans. In that airport, as her anxious heart raced, she mustered the courage to reach out and grab Kevin's hand as he walked out with her luggage (she had 2 carryons for a 2-night stay, go figure). In that simple gesture, something magical transpired. Walls of fear crumbled, and Kevin's heart melted. From that day forward, they held on tight, never letting go. Kevin cooking Sandy the best tacos she's ever had also helped! Their story is a testament to the beauty of finding love in unexpected places and cherishing it with all our hearts. They are grateful to their friends for introducing them, thankful for the journey that led them here, and excited for the future that awaits them as they say "I do."
